Still interested, Vegas aside, but working on factoring in the time off and/or cost.

Worst case, i may just book a separate (smaller) apartment with 1 or 2 bedrooms depending on requirements from others ITT.

BTW, Rich...do you have an address for the villa in case I/we"d like to be relatively close?

Google Maps is my friend.

Dont have an address yet, but it"s on the south side of Pinhal Golf course, about 1km north of the marina at about 1 o"clock. If you look on the link of the villa it shows a map on additional photos.

Villa 1 is now full but I have found 2 other villas and a couple of apartments at reasonable prices nearby.

If you are interested please let me know.

Which country is December in? :P

I would love to make this trip also, will not be able to make any plans until late summer though. Could be quite expensive, but you guys would be worth every penny. :)

We now have 13 APATers confirmed with flights booked (plus Rita Glavin whose there on hols) for this trip, plus 3 more deffos (friends of Ger - yes I know 3 friends seems a bit much but he says so) and another 4 booking over the next 2 weeks.

We can book as much accomodation as is needed, but flights are getting a little more expensive by the day, so if you fancy it, get your A*** in gear (Ger"s words obv.)  ;)

Apart from the ones already booked into the first mansion. 4 people have booked flights (and damn nearly 4 more confirmed) and are asking about accomodation so if you are going get in touch and Curley can work his magic.

Spoke to Matty the Stockton Rock about this the other day..... interested but probably need to make a call later on in the year, disappointed no foreign shores "adventure" was on the APAT schedule this year, so this gets a big thumbs up from me. Would double look forward to it if the Portugal team were getting involved as well, miss those guys.

If you"d read my blog entry recently you"d know I"d planned on an unofficial trip for January.

If I can"t make this one (and I really want to make it but Vegas is impinging) then I"ll work on a return to Lloret and see how things go.
At the moment, if I can make Portugal, then I may fly back on Tuesday and head out to Vegas the next day.

It"s a hard life.  ;D

Paulie, Sorry to go off topic but can you tell me more about possible trip to Lloret as I know the area well and am actually going there next week.

Is it the Casino in Lloret de Mar you are talking about which is part of The Gran Casino Royal Hotel?

Cheers

Jimmy

Thanks Phil, i"ve just spent a very enjoyable couple of hours reading Paulie"s blog and must say his style of writing is fantastic.

Will have to finish off his Vegas stories later but they are hilarious.

Would be interested in any Lloret Poker trip so will keep my eyes open for any future posts.

Enjoying the forum and just trying to read as much as possible to get up to speed.

Cheers
