4 Max Fun
« on: July 01, 2012, 09:03:19 AM »
Villain is good, aggressive and a winner at these stakes. He was playing 44/30 over 160 hands together at this table. The other two are the spots and he has been exploiting them in position regularly. We have been battling and he has come off better in recent hands. He is yet to 4 bet pre and has folded to the majority of my 3 bets.

Cbet flop. I think we hv2fold river as played. Once we check back twice, its fairly obvious we have sdv and we obv cnt beat any of his value range. sizing looks valuish as well.

Difficult....lining you up for a mini-hero call but mayhaps its a clever bet for tempting you into that...

Given your description of action I think he can call quite wide pre, though oop probably not any two. Perhaps 66+, A10+ and quite a few suited connectors maybe 89+, that could be conservative espec on set mining.

So jumping to the end I think, be interested on others view on this one, he"s happy for cheap showdown with 66-88 (maybe even 1010, JJ) , with draws out there cant see him slowplaying AA....I reckon monster KQ, (less likely 22, 33, KK, AQ) quite a few busted str8/flush draws, or perhaps 1010, JJ.

In your position I reckon I"d be tempted into a call (feel silly when he shows I"m crushed or pwned for paying off he"s well judged bet wiv 1010 :) )

As an aside I never think like this in game but is there a tiny meta-game thing here that makes the c-bet quite tempting, you"ve 3-bet a bit and he"s folded, he"s called and you"ve let him see 5 cards cheap oop..
