Following the escapades of Monty in the field yesterday afternoon, I decided to film when he came into bat today, the wag of the tail was some of the best entertainment over the first two days, especially for crowd participation.

2012 has been a very quiet year for me, Sri Lanka aside most of my time was taken up with work. Due to the small event hosted by London this year.  All in all virtually no poker and no APAT live events, a disappointment as I always attempted to attend as many as I could in previous years.

Work has been busy but I know have the opportunity to embrace a new challenge as I transition into a role with the Global team. Just spent four days in Chicago and in two week will be heading to Brazil and in the first week of December it"s back to Chicago.

With all this going on I also managed to see myself end up in Hospital in August and I"m still recovering and healing from that.  The one benefit was that I got to play the ECOAP online series which was a lot of fun, a great format that is being repeated which I think is a superb series being added to the live event.

Talking of live events, I"ll be attending my first this year in Glasgow, so looking forward to this and seeing everyone. Have lost a fair bit of weight this year with everything going on so I hope people still recognise me.

A bit more travelling tomorrow as I head with work to Spain for five days, BA Executive Club is the winner for me at the moment ! See you all in Glasgow.
