APAT Team Championships
« on: December 10, 2012, 14:41:24 PM »
We are now guaranteed to finish in the top 3 and in doing so we have been invited to play in the APAT Team Championships to be held at the G casino in Luton on the 26th and 27th of January.

The team will consist of 8 players playing a MTT. The cost will be £50 split between the team prize and individual prize.

Cost
£50 Entry
£50 Hotel
£15 Polo Shirt (each)
£30 Fuel
The experience of playing in one of these priceless

I will pick the team on Friday the 21st, giving us time to make hotel arrangements

If you would like to play then please send me a PM or post on here

Advance Travel Tips

The Days Inn, Luton which is only a few minutes walk from the casino can currently be booked for Friday &/or Saturday for £39 p.n.

As an alternative, I believe that the Premier Inn, Luton can be booked for £29 p.n. but is somewhat further away but still within easy distance.

Both of these are, of course, non-refundable.

Afraid Not

It is usually APAT based teams and invites to selected poker forums or groups.

Excluding 2008, my online form is better than my live game - but I would like to be considered.

Cheers

Don"t panic Alan, we will be setting up a thread for teams to register their interest later this week.

Three of the team places are allocated to the teams that are top in our Online League, that is what this thread is about.

I would be unavailable at that time due to work and family commitments.

(I work Saturdays and my son"s wife ready to pop out my fifth grandchild mid January and they need some sucker to help with their three other kids!)

But I"ll be cheering the team on, hopefully with my latest grandson on my knee.

;D

I"ll register interest but may have my feet in two team camps as I will be applying for a team spot for Punters Lounge so if that"s accepted could also be up for selection there. (I"m a mod there.) (And I already have a tee-shirt there lol)

In case it"s needed my live credentials are here : http://pokerdb.thehendonmob.com/player.php?a=r&n=125191
(plus most recently 6th for £600 at Poker Player tour in Leeds not yet updated on there)
