Lewis took defeat very graciously. Not a big fan but he went up in my estimation there.

Not very patriotic, bug would love to see an all Dutch final

Great match, I"m glad Lewis lost cant stand him!! Limp hand shake!

As for all Dutch final it would be good but I think Taylor wants to win the Sid Waddell trophy.

Unlucky Wayne by the way!! ;D

What a match the MVG vs Wade match was!

Almost a back-to-back 180. That has to rank amogst the hardest things to achieve in any sport. Would have been incred!

Too many crashes at the APAT Wakeboarding Championships methinks  :D Of course Matt meant back-to-back 9 darters. What an incredible tourney it"s been, that"s for sure. Can"t wait for an epic Final between Taylor & Van Gerwen  8) Not sure what the aggro with Phil & Barney was at the end last night......anyone know?

Phil said he hurt his hand, poor lad!  ;D

He will get hammered by the Van if he plays like that

Phil Taylor"s just an unpleasant person. Probably covers it.

Come on MvG!

haha, I posted the same mistake on fb too but thankfully managed to edit it out before anyone replied. Didn"t realise I"d made the same mistake here too :) (I did indeed mean back-to-back 9-darters :D)

Aye, Phil Taylor was an idiot after last night"s game. He"s since apologised (probably after being advised to) saying that Barney hurt his hand in the handshake.

It"s a sad state of affairs when most of the UK are probably going to be supporting the non-British player tomorrow!...

I didn"t think Ladbrokes were APATs sponsor for the 2009 UK Championship but this picture of Steve Redfern winning it must mean they were??

lol vg :D

What"s the prediction for tonight"s final? I"m going to go with MVG 7-6 Taylor with a sudden death leg in the final set :)

Want Taylor to win, think it will be his last. But I just think MvG is just in form of his life.

Can Taylor get in his head?

Oooh it"s a tough choice, I"m going for Taylor 7-5

I think Taylor might have the crowd against him tonight, which could irk him somewhat.

Though, can MVG hit the doubles? He struggled with them massively in the QFs (though admittedly was a lot better in the SF).

I think MVG @ Evens is the bet :)

I reckon Taylor will win reasonably comfortably, say 7-4. Based purely on experience.

This is shaping up to be a classic to rival 2007 at the moment
