Thanks (x2). I have a card and must remember to use it when I pre-register. I hope the £/$ exchange rate does go too mad between now and 4th March.

Bloke on Radio 4 this morning reckons it might drop further. Apparently, the only reason the £ was up at 1.65 last year was because the sh*tness of the US/EU economies was covering up the slightly less sh*t situation in the UK.

Fingers crossed!

U the economics guru mate!!.....Id be waiting but I was just an fx broker jubbo!!

Could always look at buying option to sell £ at below 1.5x in say 3 months....prob cost u no more than £50 or so for £7-10k.....obv if goes up u dont exercise and if drops below 1.50 u itm!!.....think I worded that right!!

If the markets like the budget you may get a little bounce, but otherwise I would expect the trend to remain downwards in the short term.

But I"m not an investor, and I no longer work in investments so don"t follow things as much as I used to. So you may wish to ignore it all! Good luck :)
