short and sweet in the PLO8 - got quartered early on when getting all in after turn on a K473 board with A356... other guy had A256.    Then ground it out for a while, until I found A235ds in the BB with a raiser and caller before me - shoved, called by A9KK(ffs) which held.

Big$55 to come.

Wow - this is not going well.

First hand - raise 3x MP with AA, called by BB.   He leads flop and I raise. He check/calls turn. Then leads river when the draws get there. I fold AA, and he shows me a rivered gutshot straight! sigh - down to 2000.

20 minutes in, hand against same player - I raise with AK, he calls. I then cbet flop and turn having missed.... he calls all the way. check/check on a 7 river... he shows A7.

Down to 1300 (from 3000). Not ideal - time to grind....

Short stack grinding FTW!!  Sustained a 1k stack for an hour or so, then took a couple of squeezy gambly spots and got lucky, then found AK vs a guy squeeze shoving with T6, and now have 9.1k - avg 4.9k

2nd break, 512/976(2472) - 324 paid.   stack 5.6k, avg 7,6k. Blinds 125/250/a30

The last two orbits, I"ve shoved the button with around 15bbs... and have had decent hands to shove with (77, and KQs). I figured that as the blinds snap folded each time, I could shove there with anything reasonable - and A2 was plenty good enough this time round. Didn"t like getting snap called by both blinds.......

Closely followed by getting it in with JJ on a 567 flop, called by 88 and 55.  Won a small side pot against the 88. Back to 10bb.  416 left, 324 paid.

Gone - 181st from 2472 for $129.78.

Exit had was a shove with AKs over a minraise - he called with A9o.... and got there.

Happy to cash this one - was struggling with a short stack from the first level, and despite a couple of small recoveries, never really got a playable stack. When the bubble burst I had 2bb. Two treble ups, and was back playing 15bb again....   but AK

Thank you guys - much appreciated.  I"ll have a think - may change the profile a little though as although PLO8 is my best game, I don"t seem to do very well in the Saturday PLO8 6max tourney - I much prefer PLO8 in a full ring tourney, and will have a look at what"s available.
