U.S. Open Golf

I have had a bet on Adam Scott at 22/1 (I missed the 28/1 this morning   :(  ) for a bit of interest. He is just about to tee off in Day 1 so has been backed before a ball has been struck which is a good sign I think.

I was also looking at Hunter Mahan at 100/1 seems a big price but not put any money on yet.  I will have another look after day 1 has finished.

Anyone got a fancy for this?

I"ve covered McIlroy, Snedeker (to lay off before he blows up this time, lost a good profit at the Masters), Furyk and Clark. I"d never normally back him, but McIlroy at 24 on a popular betting exchange was just too good to pass up. Clark at 120 too, and 9/1 for top 10 is just the best value out there imo.

Got 35 for Snedeker and 56 for Furyk. Got savers for all for a top 10 finish.

Already bagged a win with colsaerts beating Watson in the first round.

Have gone for Tim Clark, McElroy, Westwood and Paul Lawrie. All sold finishing positions on the spreads.

Goddammit, I usually back Stenson for a run and he always lets me down. He"s definitely due a good major performance but I"d rather it was when I have money on him.

This US Open looks to be a total wash for me :(

Hunter Mahan was still 100/1 at the end of day 1 after finishing a respectable +2 .
He now starts the final day as one of the favs. 15/2 best price, but I haven"t had a penny on him  :(
