Crunch time in the NFL tonight for several teams! Who"s going to be watching, and who are you going to back?

I"m hoping for the following results:

[ x ] Steelers to beat Cleveland
[ x ] Jets to beat Dolphins (unlikely as Jets have nothing to play for).
[ x ] Bengals to beat the Ravens
[ . ] Chiefs beat the Chargers (unlikely as Chiefs have already secured their place in the playoffs, so will be fielding their 3rd string team)...

25/1 on that accum. on betfair (though I"m not silly enough to actually back it!).

Also, did anyone play John Maddens American Football on the Megadrive back in the day? Me and Mark the Shark have played it a whole load recently (via an emulator and netplay). He"s whupped me a fair bit so far tbf, winning seasons 1 and 2. We"re 3 games into the 3rd 10-game season, and he"s 2-1 up, but I"ve still some faith! :D

p.s. Pitttssburhghghghghghg Steeeeleeeersssssss!!!

edit: final results update above

Meh. Kinda wish I had stuck a "lucky 15" on the above now!... Still only HT tho, and KC will almost certainly ruin the party for the uber-payout...

And so it came to pass. What an incredibly exciting season finale for a Steelers fan. 3 out of 4 results went the right way, with the 4th looking nailed on, but a crazy change in fortunes (and at least 1 dubious reffing decision) meant it went right down to the last few minutes of overtime. Alas, not to be.

Wildcard weekend! Exciting :D

Anyone sticking a bet on? I"m going for a simple 4-fold with the following selections:

Chiefs vs Colts
Saints vs Eagles
Chargers vs Bengals
49ers vs Packers

£10 bet pays £72.40

one of the most surreal SuperBowls ever!

Seahawks made a blistering start - not so much the safety but the huge tackles landed on the Broncos receivers and then the big plays that Wilson and the Seattle offense put on the Broncos D.

The more it went on the more unbelievable it became - Denver just seemed to freeze and look desperate whilst Seattle just looked and played like they were a class apart.

I dont think anyone could have predicted a scoreline like 43-8 - this will likely go down as one of the most memorable - but worst - SuperBowls in history and it will seriously taint the claim that Denvers offense is the best in NFL history.

Few can doubt tho that the Legion of Boom and the rest of the Seattle D will go down as one of the best defensive units in NFL history!

Roll on next season........
