First break:

Event #50 - PLO - 432/509 - stack 15k, avg 26k (chased and missed a couple, but no headache yet)
Event #51 - NLHE - 3383/5178 - stack 4530, avg 6846 (hardly played a hand)
Main Event - 718/2555 - stack 23k, avg 21k (nothing to tell)

Gone disappointingly early in the PLO - flopped top two with ace blocker to nfd - check raised all in, and the guy had nothing but a 10 hi flush draw and snap called - of course he got there.

Second break:

Event #51 - 1012/2171 (from 7851), 873 paid. Stack 16k, avg 18k. Tourney plays on a fast and shallow structure.
Main Event - 547/2350 (from 3112 with late reg still open). Stack 27k, avg 26k. No dramas here.

We"re still in the Main Event, but not with any degree of comfort now.

868/1064 - stack 28k, avg 60k. Blinds 600/1200/a150

Three more levels to play today. I won"t survive without at least one double up. Have been card dead and spot dead for ages now, other than one hand when I min-raised KK utg, and managed to steal the blinds.

Well ahead of avg stack now, and barring coolers or mistakes, we should be making day two with a reasonable stack

End of day 1a, we have a stack of 118k, avg is 116k. Reasonably happy with that.  Blinds when we return are 1.5k/3k

Day 1a had 3222 runners, with 554 surviving, and we are placed 221st.

Day 2 starts on Wednesday night at 7pm (and if we get further, day 3 is on Thursday evening)
