Yes, dates are valid...I"ve booked the flight already (today in fact).

Hotels....Tom is still negotiating with the host hotel for a discount and hopes to have the pricing sorted by end of October (as I recall).

Is there a plan to have a game/event on the Friday?

Oh dear me...Poker?...on an APAT Friday?

Nah! :)

Seriously, I"m not sure if the venue is putting something on...if not it"s a cab ride into town for those who might want to gambool.

Me...I"ll be in the bar...and I"m guessing I won"t be alone.

Never seen the point of a pub crawl except in the terms of...

Crawl to nearest pub...drink...drink some more....rinse repeat.

A lot of unnecessary extra walking time that could be spent drinking....oh, and "Paulie Don"t Do Walking".

The best deal for Bewleys accommodation I can get is £49 for double/twin room (only) per night - based on Fri, Sat and Sun - anyone who would like me to book this for them (need min 10 - and will need money (£147) transferred by end Oct) - please PM me if you wish to book (please PM - don"t just note it here on the forum).

Also believe flights are very cheap at the moment, so if you"re planning on attending then now would be a good time to book your flight I believe.

Hi guys just wondering if i could ask a few questions since i have only ever been to usually only go to the Glasgow APAT tournies since it is local. The Dublin event looks immense and was just wondering if there will be side events/cash games available on site and do they have the gambling licence all night? The reason i ask this is for accommodation purposes. Since i am going alone £170 for the hotel is a tad steep on my own and considering i can just get a hostel in the city for £60 but if there is plenty of poker available other than the main event it would probably be worth the extra money. There is no need for exact details just a little taster if possible

Hi Craig, I will be finalising details whilst in Dublin this weekend, and although I can"t confirm right now exactly what will be on offer, I can confirm that there will be side events throughout the weekend, and cash games running throughout each day and night.

If you"re happy to share a twin room in Bewleys Hotel (venue of poker), I"m happy to add you to the list for accommodation and then match you up with someone else who is happy to share also - which of course will help keep the cost down.

Just PM me if you would like this option.
