Ireland Team for WCOAP 2015 London.
« on: February 15, 2015, 15:02:48 PM »
Firstly I would like to thank Apat for asking me to captain Ireland in the WCOAP Team event on Thu 2nd April"15 and Fri 3rd April"15 in Aspers Stratford, London. Without hesitation I accepted the invitation.

So I"m looking for players to put their names forward to represent Ireland in this prestigious World Team Event. It"s a chance in a lifetime to play for your country, so please send me a pm if you would like to be considered for the team.

April is not that far away so lets get the team together asap.

Frankie.

Ireland Team for the WCOAP in Aspers Casino Stratford London.

Kevin O Hanlon. (Kohan)

Kevin is a regular APAT player live and online. He has played For Ireland five times and has been top Irish points scorer in three and top two twice. He has three Apat medals under his belt, winning silver in the Home Internationals at Dusk Till Dawn, and silver for the English online championship this season. Bronze for the Apat WCOAP heads up at Dusk Till Dawn in season six. He wants that gold and this could be his chance to get one in the WCOAP London.

Ian Thompson. (Pables)

Ian has played many Apat events both live and online. Got interested in poker through the Late night poker series on tv. While working in Scotland he trained as a croupier at the Riverboat on Broomielaw Glasgow. Move back to England and played a lot of live poker events at the Grosvenor Casino in Ramsgate. Final tabled Paradise 30K in 2005 and also cashed in the Paradise Masters series the same year. He recently cashed in 13th place at the European Open in Luton and got a bronze medal in the pot limit Omaha Worlds online.

Peter Campbell.

Peter in a new player to Apat. He played the Irish Apat event in Dublin and enjoyed the Apat experience so much he wanted more and was very keen to play for his country in London. He has played all over Ireland in recent years where he has cashed in many tournaments, the IPO Dublin, the WPT National Dublin, UKIPT Galway,  and numerous games at the Fitzwilliam Casino Dublin. He is currently the Ambassador for the Irish poker site Irish Eyes which includes online and live events.

Myself  Frank Bailie   (cormach) on most online sites. Can"t say much about myself only to say that I enjoy playing the game and being involved in the Apat experience.
