Excellent stuff.
Will deffo play manchester and maybe another.

I assume that WCOAP is so huge it gets it"s own separate announcement.

Any online announcements on the way?

Cracking schedule.

I also assume that the WCOAP details would take a lot of managing to pull together in time to be released with the initiall schedule.

I know Des had some ambitious plans for WCOAP S9.

Comments arising from the recent WCOAP would not have been ignored.

Amazing job on the schedule.

And from our part we are very happy to have 2 events included in Belgium. We hope to see a lot of you guys there.
We are especially looking forward to the Benelux APC, which will have 6 days!

In a few days we will post some more info about the 2 events in Belgium, for those who want to book early!

Very pleased to see Manchester feature in the schedule again. Just need to ensure that they don"t run out of Guinness this time like they did for the Team Event in December... they obviously didn"t realise how much APATers can drink  :D

Looks good to me.  Like Ian, I"m well pleased to see another event in Manchester.  Well done guys.

Good compromise on the team tournament I think.  Much better an online qualifier than two day 1"s.

See youse in Coventry.

Just to be clear - the UK Online Team Championship will not be a 100% qualifier to the live equivalent - only the top x teams will be able to guarantee their place in the live event, at this stage I would guess around 10% of those that take part in the Online event up to a maximum - but that will be confirmed idc - the UK Team Championship will IN THE MAIN be as per previous years where teams will apply for a place - the minimum teams we will cater for at the live event in Luton will be similar (ish) to S8.

Alan, primarily, and similar to the UK Team Championship, the Benelux Team Championship is for teams from "the region" - "Belgian Tom" (Dodgyend) has set aside the majority of team places for teams from Benelux (Belgium, Netherlands and Luxembourg) but has allowed for a small number of teams outside the region to take part which will be by "invitation" from him - Tom will post more specific details over the next day or so.

Looks terrific Tom, great work, and it"s still only the start of May. You really need to keep us hanging a little more.

My only gripe is the side events schedule. Every Uk event has NLHE on Saturday evening and Omaha on Sunday afternoon. The only time we get the "non standard variants" is on the Sunday evening when most people have already gone home.

It"s not really the best way to introduce people to the different games. It"s only three or four years since most players railed against learning Omaha but had to because it was on. Now look how many Omaha players we have.
S4 G UK Team - LPM
S6 S UK Online, B Online Team Cup, Home Internationals - England "B", Irish Online
S7 G (& Bracelet) WCOAP Online
S8 G Scottish Online, B WCOAP Stud
S9 S WCOAP Team - England, B UK Team - LPM
S10 S Irish Online, England Captain - WCOAP
S13 B UK Team - APAT Degens

I understand your thought Matt but having looked hard at it decided to retain similar to S8 - those who go deep in ME into Day 2 probably not complain if they miss PLO on Sun (although still have circa 2 hours to bust ME and enter side) but maybe would if they bust after late entry for side on Sat eve etc etc etc - so many possibilities and feel this gives most players most opportunity to experience non - NLHE events - esp the first Side on Sun which we expect to complete around 9 PM and expect all ME players to have allowed for the possibility of playing this late anyway - PLO is still an alien concept for many, many players - the non-NLHE/PLO variants played later on Sun will have low numbers to give those who wish an opportunity to experience them without negatively affecting the main emphasis of the weekend where we expect the majority of players to want to participate.

The 3 teams that qualified already for the team Championships are still valid?
