Welcome back for Day 1B of the APAT Belgian Amateur Poker Tour in Namur.

Day 1A saw 41 survivors out of 129 entries. The 2nd flight of the Main Event promises to be huge and we are hoping to pass the 200-mark.

Play will start at 15:00 and we will play 10 levels.

For those interested in cash games; the normal minimum table blinds are 2-2, but the casino agreed to open up 1-1 tables if there"s any demand... So please come to see us if you want to be on the 1-1 list throughout the evening!

We are 10 minutes into the first level of Day 1B here in Namur.

Some players are using their 2nd bullet today, hopefull of making Day 2 this time.

Players are still checking in, and it"s unclear how many players are registered for the moment. We"ll get an update on that very soon. Right now it looks like 15 tables with 8 or 9 players... For a total of around 130 players.

More of course will be expected in the next few hours.

Apparantly Danny Covyn, our Belgian bronze medalist at the WCOAP PLO Hi-Lo didn"t make his big stack work at day 2 of the DSO at Saint-Amand (FRA) but he didn"t forget about us and just joined us at the tables.

He"s sitting with Ken Vandenplas.

The Main Event is a $30 buyin NLH tournament with a very nice and deep structure. On Wednesday there"s an exclusive freeroll where you can win your seat. And the days before the Main Event you can qualify for 5$.

There"s also a $10 PLO Side Event.

The Main Event awards 12 points for Player of the Year; the Side Event 6 points.
That"s a good number of points to get yourself into the POTY race!

An Blieck doubles from 3k to 6k with 8"s versus AQ. THe board gives ber a full house.

Bert Neels also takes down a pot. We pick it up at the river with 5.5k in the middle. Bert sees a bet from 2k which he calls.

The board lay there with 3 diamonds and Bert add an extra 9.5k to his stack.

Danny looses one on the river.
Danny makes it preflop 425 to go and only the BB defends.
Flop
BB checks and Danny Covyn bets 300, called by the blind.
The turn gets checked by both players
Th on the river is being bet by the Big Blind and Danny makes the call. BB shows 7T and Danny mucks in his known style.

Reseat for Joachim Wallaert - He is beaing drawn at the table with Arie, An, Yves and Tillo. This means we are having both The Red Jacks Pokerteam players at the same table !!!

A little Dutch action between Evertjan Van Ijzendoorn and Marco Wouters in the BB

At the flop it is Evertjan who leads out for 800 being instacalled by Marco.

At the turn the situation repeats itself but for 1.9k now.

Fifth street comes with and Evertjan bets 3.1k this time. Marco calmly reaches for 8k in chips. Evertjan takes another look at his cards and folds. I could take a peek as well but I won"t give away any details here about Evertjan"s hand.

Fleur De Klijn is also active.

On a 5 way flop (9TQ) an MP players bets 1.1k called by Fleur and and EP player. Wouter Depuydt also got involved preflop but he folds.
We see a 3-way turn and river since the hand gets checked out. Turn is a 6, river is also a 6.
EP mucks, MP shows 8T but Fleur wins it with KT.

On table 11 we see An Blieck move all in on the flop.

The board reads   and Tilo De Cock bets out. An moves all in and everyone else folds to Tilo.
He tanks for a few seconds and then releases.

An is now up to 8k.


That same table has both our Team Red Jacks players seated close to each other and we just saw Joachim Wallaert take down a decent sized pot against Yves Bormans.

Joachim still has some work to do, with 12.275 in front of him. Yves has 21.725.
