APAT EVENT BUY-IN AND REGISTRATION

Event buy-in will be available in the Venue Poker Room Cash Desk on the day from 1 hour prior to each event (except High Roller and Main Event which are both 2 hours) on a first come basis and an alternates list will be created if required.

Late entry/Alternates for individual events are as listed on each individual event HERE

Players may reserve a seat in advance via the APAT Eventbrite facility HERE - this facility will close at 20:00 on Thu 17th Mar for ALL EVENTS EXCEPT THE MAIN EVENT - the Main Event will close at 20:00 on Fri 25th March.  Please ensure you read HERE for details of the APAT Eventbrite facility terms and conditions.

For ALL players who reserved a seat via the APAT Eventbrite facility then you MUST claim your reserved seat by turning up and registering/buying-in in full PRIOR TO the advertised event start time - failure to do so will mean your seat will IMMEDIATELY be re-allocated (and if you turn up later than this then you will have to take a chance that a seat is available).

ALL players MUST proceed to the venue poker room cash desk on the day of the event and have their membership card swiped to enter the event and receive a tournament receipt (and pay the full buy-in if not paid in full in advance) - it is at this point that you are officially in the event - you must then take your tournament receipt to your table where the dealer will provide you with your chips - if you leave the table at any point thereafter, then you will be blinded-off accordingly.

ALL players MUST keep their tournament receipt visible and on the table in front of them at all times - when knocked out this tournament receipt must immediately be given to the dealer.

We strongly recommend you turn up well in advance to buy-in/receive your tournament receipt on the day and allow for any time needed to gain entry to the venue (and join as a member, which you must be to be able to play poker).

ANY Player (whether they have bought-in in advance, reserved a seat, entered via online satellite token, added value or paid on the day etc) who does not obtain their tournament receipt BEFORE THE EVENT ADVERTISED START TIME will not officially be entered into the tournament, and therefore at this time they will immediately have their name removed from the player list and be due a refund - and at this time their seat will be made available to others - they may of course, if arriving later, then ask to have their name added to the event reserve list.

Players who pre-paid into an event but who did not receive a tournament receipt and therefore did not enter the event will receive a cash refund from the casino (whether they paid cash in the casino, or entered via Coral Online Holding Tanks, Online Satellite token etc).  However, this will take some time to process, with an estimate of at least 3 hours after the event closes for registration/late entries.  Any player who bought in via Coral and does NOT obtain a cash refund at Aspers will have the buyin refunded via APAT in due course after the WCOAP (after it has been paid to APAT from Aspers) - this is expected to be within 10 days AFTER the WCOAP completes.

LATE ENTRY/ALTERNATES

ALL events that have a late entry period will have it noted on the Individual Event Structure thread that will be published  in advance.

To sum up - get there on time!

Team entry to the Team Championship on Thu/Fri is controlled by APAT and entry is available by APAT INVITATION ONLY.

PLAYERS WHO HAVE BOUGHT-IN FOR MULTIPLE OVERLAPPING EVENTS

NO PLAYER MAY MULTI TABLE. Anyone who has pre-bought into multiple overlapping events, and is still playing event 1 when event 2 starts, and therefore has not obtained their tournament receipt for event 2 BEFORE THE EVENT ADVERTISED START TIME (because they cannot as they are not allowed to multi table) then they will not officially be entered into the tournament, and at this time they will immediately have their name removed from the player list and be due a refund - and at this time their seat will be made available to others - they may of course, on departure from the first tournament, then ask to have their name added to the event reserve list.

The Main Event Champion and the member topping the Season 9 Ranking Points Leaderboard will both win a trip to the Fabulous Las Vegas during the WSOP 2016 and travel with APAT/LPPL Prizewinners (early-mid June).

PRIZES

Each exact event prize pool breakdown will be confirmed at the venue after the event has closed for further entries.

All Championship event winners (including the 4 members of the winning team from the Team Championship) will be awarded a coveted WCOAP Bracelet and the top 3 players (and teams) an APAT Gold, Silver and Bronze medal.

There are no individual prizes/awards in the Team Championship.

The Team Championship will pay the Top 3 Teams as follows:

World Champions and Gold Medalists:   50%
World Runners-Up and Silver Medalists:   28%
World third placed and Bronze Medalists:   22%

PLAYER OF THE SERIES

The Player Of The Series will be identified as the player in the WCOAP 2016 who scores the most ranking points from all ranking events.  If 2 or more players top the POTS Leaderboard then it will be decided on most cashes, and then the highest finishing position in the Main Event.

The POTS will win a WCOAP 2017 Passport to include entry to the Main Event (£110) and entry to 2 Side Events (£55).

LIVE UPDATES

A live update/blog will be provided by Lucy Amos throughout the week, and a live stream service will be provided from Fri 25th to Mon 28th by Des Duffy and Leigh Wiltshire.  Feel free to tell your friends and family, who can follow your progress on the APAT forum - guests will need to register as a member on the forum to see pictures/live stream and to post on the forum.  Member registration is free.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Please note the event is subject to the terms & conditions of the Amateur Poker Association & Tour.

Players will be able to utilise the APAT Seat Exchange within the APAT Forum to trade their seat at the face value.  Seat Exchange Guidelines apply.

FINALLY

As a member of the Amateur Poker Association and Tour, we would like you to be aware of your expected role in our collective responsibility to ensure that the weekend is memorable and enjoyable for not only every participant - but for everyone involved within the venue and in the organising of the events.   We would appreciate you doing your bit to ensure that every player comes away having had the best possible poker experience with APAT.

The best of luck to everyone - we look forward to seeing you there.
