DTD Support
« on: August 07, 2007, 09:34:11 AM »
For those that don"t know, DTD (in Nottingham) is aiming to be the UK"s first large-scale, dedicated Poker Club.

If opened, it will most probably become the finest poker venue outside the US.  However, a number of large casino chains are attempting to prevent the club from opening (protecting their cartel in the UK), and DTD wants to present a petition of support at their magistrates hearing.

That"s where you come in:

It"ll take two minutes of your time - or a bit longer if you want to read through the rest of the comments on the thread.

As mentioned by Des and Rich, if DTD gets the green light, it will be one of the venues for the APAT events, and if you haven"t seen the photos of club so far, you are going to be very pleasantly surprised.

I for one, can"t wait to play there.  We could have an APAT event for well over 400 runners - all playing on the same day!

So what are you waiting for... ???

...and if you have a few hours to spare, you might want to read the DTD thread started by Rob Yong in 2005!

I guess it"s about an hour and a half from you (give or take)?  I"m sure there"ll be others travelling further who will be there on a regular basis.  I"m lucky, and am about 40 minutes away.

I little bit out of my way (2 1/2 hour drive) but the LPM are planning on making it later this year after Rob gets the place open.

If you haven"t already post a supportive comment on Blonde"s thread...DTD needs you!
