Hello Staking section.

I am Craig Dawson. Reg Apat player on the Tour, and represented Team England at the Apat Worlds this season.
My Hendon Mob Data: http://pokerdb.thehendonmob.com/player.php?a=r&n=180161

This week the MPNPT Poker Tour comes to Manchester my local Casino. I played this comp in Vienna it is a fantastic tournament with a £550 buy-in and £150k guarantee.
I have been excited about playing this for the last three months since I found out they were coming to the UK.
I managed to get on the feature table in Vienna. They are really well organised. I loved every minute of it.
I have been told by the Cardroom manager that there are Twelve bloggers working on this Event keeping everyone updated.

There are also side events including a Doubles Team Event for a bit of fun for players that don't make Day 3 on Sunday.

Details of the Comp and Live Updates here  https://www.mpnpokertour.com/events/manchester-20-23-july/

I come into this comp in good form. I managed to make two Final Tables last month in 25/25 Series Liverpool and 25/25 Series Leeds

£12 per 1%
£6 returned if I don't need a second chance

Didn't make Day 3  :( Poor performance on Day 2 after building a big chip stack to get there. I have learnt a lot from this experience.

They didn't get your exit hand on the updates Craig.  If it's not too painful and you fancied sharing, I'm curious as you had a decent stack going into Day 2.  :(

Damage was done to my stack very early. I raised with A5 and flopped two pair and had one caller who flopped a set. I paid too much for this. My exit hand is painful because I played pocket aces badly. I have been playing really well recently and especially in Day 1 .I bossed the table and was in control. I usually play pots small ball in these circumstances but I inflated the pot too much against my opponents 87suited who got there and I reluctantly paid him off with his river bet. I played the hand badly by inflating the pot. I haven't played a hand that badly for a long time and i have to admit that I definitely had 'tilt' from the previous hand.
I pride myself on keeping tilt to a minimum. It is my strongest asset. I have an edge in the mental game. I take the beats without it bothering me.
I really hyped up this tournament in my head. It was one i had been looking forward to since I played Leg 1 of this Tour in Vienna and it was coming to my home Casino. I put too much pressure on myself and it affected my game. Which is out of character for me. I have learnt a lot from it.
