Well a very quiet day today, not been up to much at all. Set my alarm for 3:30pm so I could get logged in and take part in the Welsh Online Championship.

Doubled up early doors after flopping the nut flush, had a caller which was good, then finished him off with my pair of two"s.

Lasted an hour and a half and went out with AKos against a pair of Jacks who hit a set on the flop.  Enjoyed playing some poker, the first of the holiday, will hopefully participate in some of the Sats for the Welsh open this week too.

Back to the holiday, one case arrived for the Welsh contingent, but one still outstanding, hopefully will be found and sent through tonight !!

It"s going to be a very hot one in Barbados today, not a cloud in the sky  8)

The Welsh contingent are happy this morning, at last the final suitcase arrived, so all personnel now equiped with clean clothes and toiletries, a freshness in the camp this morning  ;D

Making a visit to a local pub this lunchtime, it shows all the major sports and Liverpool v Man City is on at noon, come on the mighty reds !!!!

Another glorious day in Barbados today, the rest of the Cricket tour party arrives this afternoon joining us for the 4th Test.  This will include the tour management and perhaps Tuffers as well.  We have a welcome party to attend tonight so we will find out whether Tuffers is with is.

Hotel has changed the Internet provider, which is a right pain, no problem for logging on and providing updates that is fine.  The only problem now is he length of time I can stay connected, limits me playing poker !!! Damn, was hoping to play one of the qualifiers tonight and that has put an end to that, hopefully will be sorted for tomorrow.

The team for the Test is going to be interesting, no Flintoff - injured, no Prior - new baby, new players available - Amjad Khan and Ravi Bopara.

Going to give it a couple of days before committing to a prediction, the only bankers at the moment I would say are: Strauss, Ambrose, Pieterson, Shah and Collingwood.

If anyone has any news at home let us know ;D

As Freddie Flintoff is injured looks like Ravi Bopara will be filling in at number 6 while Ambrose is at 7 in the batting line-up.

Not sure that Bopara is the right selection, we"ve got to bowl them out twice !! Got to play five specialist bowlers in my opinion, will be interesting to see if the selectors are bold or conservative, I"d rather see England lose going for the win.

Not much sunshine today, the body has had a rest from the rays  ;D

Had a go at the Welsh Sat this afternoon, no joy, the rebuy tomorrow it is.

Are you ready for $20 Million Dollar Question?

As long as we can pile on the runs and actually bowl as a team unit ( :2d:) would be ideal, who would you drop if any?

And put in, in place of Flintoff?

If I was to drop anyone it would be Harmison, just didn"t look right in Antigua, sufferring in the humid conditions.  My pick would be:

Strauss, Cook, Shah. Pieterson, Collingwood, Ambrose, Broad, Swann, Sidebottom, Khan

I have a feeling they will opt for an extra batsmen though, hope not we have got to go for the win.

Couldn"t get on unfortunately to tell you the weather was looking good this morning, as you are all aware it"s been a lovely day in Barbados.

Last night was good fun with Tuffers, had a good two hours in the bar with him and the rest of the tour party.  Had a good chat with him, his best comment of the night was  ;D

"The West Indies is a great place to enjoy the cricket, great weather, great people, great nightlife, great beer and great rum.  If I hadn"t enjoyed it so much the three or four times I came here I might have played more Test matches" Classic  ;D

My delayed update from Day 1, the hotel connection is working at last !!

We left for the ground at 8.15am and immediately hit a queue of traffic when we got on the main road, it seemed everyone was going to Bridgetown.  All the Bajan"s to work and everyone else to the cricket.

The weather was looking gorgeous and for the first day in four it looked like it might stay dry and sunny all day.

We slowly crawled into Bridgetown and then made good time in the town itself, the tall set of floodlights showing us where we were going.

We finally arrived and quickly made our way to the ground, we were greeted to a lovely sight compared to Antigua ! An immaculate ground with a wonderful outfield.

We were going to see a lot more than 10 balls at this ground  ;D
