Red and black ones are my favourites, along with orange. I always leave the yellow and green ones and usually they get thrown away!

You have terrible taste in sweets  ;D

Why don"t you and John just buy a bag each and eat the ones you like and then post the ones that are left to each other. Simplez!!!!

I"m developing an unwanted tradition of just missing final tables. In the last nine months, I have played four non-APAT tournaments outside Portsmouth and have made the last two tables in all of them and the final table in none.

888 Superstack - Mint - 11th

PokerPlayer Magazine - Vic - 11th

LPPL Nationals - Southport - 16th

And this weekend, Sussex Masters - Rendezvous - guess what - 11th

I don"t think I am ever going to make a final table again.

At least this one was different. In the first two, I had a big stack with 11 left and was nailed on to final, but was playing to win. In both I called an all-in from a smaller stack with AK and lost (to J7 and AT) and then went out when I shoved the next hand. This time I was the short-stack from more than twenty players out and just grinded into the cash and then laddered up some spots. It"s nice to have a change.

It"s not safe working in offices these days.

An electrician has fallen through the ceiling of the company where I"m currently working.

Twice!

In two days!

Yesterday, he came down through the ceiling in the Computer Room.

This morning, he landed in the HR Dept.

I"m thinking of taking the afternoon off.

Sounds like an awesome opportunity to buy 3 or 4 of those kiddie trampolines and strategically place them around the office whilst taking prop bets to see which one he may land on next :D

Your office sounds fun  :P

My brother is on the telly tonight. He is in a programme called The Ice Cream Girls, playing the key role of Policeman Nearest the Blue Railings at the Beach, which has been described by some (mainly in my family) as the pivotal role in the programme.

The reviews are in:

"The policeman nearest the railings stole the show" - The Guardian

"All in all, pretty slow going, only saved by the performance of the policeman nearest the railings" - Time Out

"A star was born last night on ITV. Three seconds of bliss made up for the lost hour watching the rest of this programme. Where next for the policeman nearest the railings?" - The Times

"That black girl definitely had the F-Factor. And the older one wasn"t too shabby either" - The Sun

"The best acting was by Bray, Co. Wicklow, playing the role of Brighton" - Bray News

Granted, not every office ... but my latest one we did have rocking loungers "musical chairs/lounge", play elastic band wars, office cricket (gets quite dangerous that one) office golf (again, can be quite dangerous, especially when I"m filming it ... but worringly we have about 4 chainsaws lying around at the moment so hoping the Marble Arch Chainsaw Masacre isn"t about to happen ;-)

Been having fun in the SCOOP this week. Cashed in the Stud M and just missed the cash in the Stud Hi-Lo M and Razz M. Then went on a little run with three-in-a-row - 11/2192 in Razz L, 74/2780 in the 8-Game L and 20/3719 in PLO Hi-Lo L.

I"m not that funny, it seems. Yesterday the MD of this place I"m currently passing through says he needs some statistics on the factory staff. So I say "Do you want details of the staff broken down by sex and age?". Stony silence - no-one laughed. Of the four people there, one of them didn"t get it until it was explained and the others just didn"t think it was funny. They were all accountants though, so I retold the scenario to a couple in Purchasing and they didn"t think it was funny either. Must be me.
