Well what can I say I have another really solid performance last night reaching another final table at league match! But all I can say is sick sick sick.

I know you have heard it all before but I must play poker at least 2 hours a day every day and I don't see as many sick beat as I do on blue square (ipoker). I have learned to accept them as part of the game but it runner runer from know where that get me. Maybe it just me but it happens more on there than any ware. (p.s. no need to bombard me with, the usual replies to this comment) lol.

But ill give you 2 clear examples sitting 3rs in chips, 14 players left.

Button pushed allin for 4040 with  kc 9s, I call in big blind with  :as: kd, pretty standard flop comes.  6c :3d: 7s, still ahead player has 3 outs. Turn card  tc always a sweat. Yeah the  8h comes on the river back door/runner runner sick sick.

So not to worry sill have plenty of chips, play solid and got a bit of luck when i shoved. Out flopping opponent. I don't mind getting out flopped its the runner runner I cant stand. So back uo to 15000 chips sitting 4th in chips at final table.

First hand in under the gun with   ah qh make standard raise to 3600 blinds 600/1200. Button pushes for 10280 with  js :as:, 6680 to call I call range could be massive with the blinds like this I get the dream flop of  qd qc 7d. I couldn't ask for a better flop. No flush drawa for opponent I have it. Such a massive favourite. Turn brings  kd. ooh nice sweat they have 2 outs any 10 but no diamond. yeah the river comes  tc. They take pot. I know there are worse beat but this hurt, I was such a massive favourite.

I do feel that I see more of these at blue square than anywhere else, my humble opinion and I believe it may be shared by other.

Push with any two as I am in big blind, out in 10th to dave greens ace jack.

1 point of the team, Rubbish and no cash. I was truly P**** off after this hand, I should have been chip leader after this getting some nice points for team and hopefully some cash. As I said it sick runner runner I hate don't mind if its like they hit 1 outer to win but not when they hit 2 miracle cards.

Nothing more I can say.............................

Well the last 2 week I have been totally grinding out the cash games on full tilt, I at one time had a decent roll on full tilt. But with my regular withdrawels and my bored stupid play, it do when I play like 4 cash game and headsup cash. Which I am trying to get out my game as it cost me lost and get me back to square one again.

So I decided to grind out the 0.05/0.10 6 max games which is well within my 30 x buy in rule I am trying to implament. P.S I hate doing it I like winning big pots but as I mentioned enough this is my big weeknes.

So back to the 0.05/0.10 cash, I had manged to grind out a $110 profit in 10 days or so with just solid nice play, with maybe 14 hours play, on my holdem manger worked out as around $8.50 an hour. Looking at my states all was good.

Then that evil monster kicked in yesterday moring. Playing my usual,0.05/0.10 6 max games, I lost two buyin in quick succesion, where I flopped sets and both times guys river flush, pretty standard I guess.

So the moster appered $20 down I thought 20 min on 0.25/0.50 ill win it back and more. BUT NOOOOOOOO, 10 min in $50 bucks gone and buy top 2 pair to guys turned set oops!! not what I wanted.

So I decided to buy in another $50,  some pretty standard hand Im playing a loose as a goose and my VP is up at 48 and Pre flop raises are getting through as well as my 3 bets so win some back up To $75. Few raises more and I could tell table was getting annoyed at my super agro play!

So im in Blind with  :as: js , and button make raise so I call annd flop comes qs jh ts

Nice flop royal rlush draw and all the rest,  so I bet 3/4 pot and guy makes massize re raise to $20 bucks well over pot of say $3 , im like what the **** to mabe bad play but I put them on ace queen or ace 10, so I want to think and just shove for $55 more on massive draw. Then quickly call with ace queen. I miss everything and they win pot.

Maybe a shoudnt shove here but hey. What you think???

I really need to get thos chasing lost buyins out of my games. Any tips?? back to the griding at 0.05/.10 as all my work has gone ***** from my stupid play.

Anyone else suffer from my this flaw?

We"re only human, and steaming or going on tilt is what can happen when things haven"t been going so well. Recently I had been murdering the 10c/20c game on BSQ and doing pretty well on the 25c/50c cash game and built my roll up nicely. But a few out draws and total suck outs later, combined with some diabolical tilting play I am back to where I was 3 weeks ago. I have been trying to stay away from the tables this week in order to refresh my thinking and get back into the right mind set. Hopefully normal service will be resumed next week! ;)

Just noticed an interesting thing on my holdem manager, for the $110 i lots from my porfit it noticed that me $EV was $65 up. So this mean that evene tho I lost the that $110, I will have been ahead for $65 of the hands that I played and got outdrawn, Thus the variation in poker.

Well I think this is correct

well yesterday was a day off work, got 3 days off will be mostly be spend playing poker, psp, hitting the gym and some golf practise the session is appoaching if we ever get some decent weather.

Well yesterday, I played 3 Sng Cashed in 2 which is nice. Along with some cash games my usual 6 max, 0.05/ 0.10 and was  $20 up so again was good.

To stop me playing to many hands I decided to play only a $2, 180 man tounrey. Where I came $4th for $36 not great as I was  2nd in chips with 4 left and I got my aces cracked by queens with a queen on the flop, so down to 4th, then I called a raise with ace jack in the big blind, flop come  ace jack 7, I check player bets 3/4 pot and I shove, they call they flopped set of 7s. So out in 4th.

But was $72 up for the day so was nice concidering my small takes play!

Im trying to be stricked with my bankroll!!

... good luck with the disciplined approach ... it is really tough work to keep the head and stop over thinking people"s moves ... two pairs vs (hidden) sets the best way to lose money I think.

I watched the rest of the league match having lost AA vs AA!

Very unlucky ... I always muse that the luck will come back the other way ... we often forget to comment when it does ...

Looking forward to the Sunday game ...

i have gone bust having built up a bankroll numerous times...due to chasing losses.. i hate losing part of my bankroll that i once had, i just want to get it back again, therefore i move up the limits...bad bad idea. i do the same in online tournaments, when i lose a pot i just want the chips that i lost back so i make moves that are not there to be made. I am slowly getting this terrible habit out of my game!!

keep at it buddy!

Well wasnt my night tonight. made a few bad calls in my mind, but I played pretty solid tho. out in 20 sumthing

Got into a good position in top 5 but lossed a big hand with ace king vs ace queen. It happens then after that couldnt hit a barn door with a banjo.

Think thats me for the world im afraid bit gutted about that. I might click fest but not sure yet!

AHHH Gutted!!

Nearly got aces cracked again but manged to river one lol its nice to suckout for a change. Got them cracked in league game against ace 3 who flopped nut straight! NICE.

Convince me to buy in please!!!

Well I decided to buy into the world"s, hope it was a good decision.

Been a quite poker week up on cash games, but I have been working at the Scottish Golf Show all week which has taken up a lot of my time, 12-14 hour days on your feet not good. But hey it was fun at times.

Sooooo shattered tho!!

I just had a crazy cash session for the last 2 hours

I was $240 down and now $210 up, went up a level which was silly, but payed off in the end I guess.

Had big hand with  :2c: :2d: to button raiser.

Flop somes :as: :2h: 6s

Im like pleae have an ace, I check they bet pot, I time and call. Turn is an ace, So I now pray they have an ace which so I check and they bet pot again I tripple bet and they shove for $140 more, I call they have  ad kd. Im like dont pair the board and no king, 9 on the river.

Thank Feck!

Night over! really need to try stick to my strict bankroll manament

Well what can I say feel like im playing good just need to get some luck.

So my grinding the low stakes i working so far, up $350 for march which is ok.

League game the other night was playing solid and in top 10 for most of the night, then if im honest I got bored and tired with late start and the donk in me came out!

Played 2 tourneys on stars and got deep this week but no great cash. I like stars tourneys but they payout way to many player.

Event 1: $1,$1000 garantee, $2005 in prize pool, out in 183 for $2.42 got to love it lol. Over played top pair my biggest flaw!!

Event 2: $2, 6 max , 2700 player, out in 78 place for only $9 and change, I feel like I played my best poker in a while in top 20 in late stages, and made few plays that never got through. When out with ace king on an ace 7 3 boared, vilan flopped 2 pair. So pretty unlucky or I would have been in top 10.

Felt like I was making good moves and read, a good confidence boost, the sooner I get my bankroll up the better to play at higher level. I dont understand why stars pay out like 380 players in such a low level buy in.

Note to self need to stop over playin top pair!!
