... Big Bucks makes me positive ... +£31.50 ... very cautious today ... too many brain sapping meetings ...

Looking forward to the Eyes Wide Shut tonight ... my signature tournament at the moment ... 11pm - $50+5 - 1500 chips - 5 min levels - usually about 90 runners ...

Last 4 attempts (3rd,2nd,37th,5th) $220 in - $2000 out ... so I have 32 free rolls before back to even!

Not the most skillful event ... but great (recent) returns ...

Hi Guys,

Me and my mate are looking to have i little flutter on the horses today but the only problem is we havent a clue what to back!!!  :-\

It seems after reading this thread there is a few people who have a good idea!!!

My mate has said the fit bird on sky sports has tipped Kauto Star for the 3.20!!!

So any tips for today would be appreciated.

Cheers

My tip would be to always watch the fit bird on sky sports, but don"t always listen to what she has to say.   ;D

Yesterday, was yesteday. Profound hey, but best forgotten.

I"m into negative ROI and not happy.  Here"s todays picks to sort things out or crush me further.

1:30 Walkon
2:05 Dave"s Dream
2:40 Cape Tribulation
3:20 Denman
4:00 Christy Beamish (e/w)
4:40 Mamlook
5:15 I"m So Lucky

Good luck guys, I think the Gold Cup has the potential to be a cracker.

Still freerolling thanks to the first two days, but not by much.  Yesterday was a killer! lol  Need a good day today to make the week an overall winner.  This is what I have so far:

13:30
Simarian e/w - kid"s pick (they like huge odds...lol)
Lethal Weapon e/w
Ebadiyan - win

14:05
Sunnyhillboy - win

14:40
Browns Baily - e/w

15:20

16:00
Southwestern - e/w

16:40
Faltering Fullback - e/w

17:15
Valain - e/w

Haven"t decided what I"m doing for the Gold Cup yet and will more than likely have the odd e/w throughout the day.

Fingers crossed for the lot of us!!!

... for me KAUTO STAR is just screaming out for some wedge ...

Fresh as a daisy by all accounts ...

See the daisy - pick the daisy - right?

One bookmaker is offering 6 places each way on the 2:05 County Hurdle.

Better not name them, but if you win then the ***"s the limit.   ;D

... looks like there is a gamble brewing for Kauto Star ... just about Even money now ... I don"t really expect it to start at that ... more like 13/8 ...

As an aside - is it against the "rules" to post Bookies name"s on this?

No rules as such, but obviously Blue Square sponsor APAT, so common sense prevails.

I"m starting to question my Denman choice.

Just think Kauto Star will flop.  I was stuck between Denman and Neptune Collonges.  I think too much has been taken from Denman"s last run out.

Fingers crossed anyway.

... fair play to Blue Square ... though I take the view that talking about gambling generates traffic ... which in reality is likely to be spread out ...

Aside - my mate who is having a cracking festival is going to have a "right go" at Madison Du Berlais ... about 11/1

The racing post is all over Kauto Star ... which means it will start short ...

Denman ... minor fitness doubts (as Kauto Star did last year) ... it is getting a decent price ...

denman has had a rushed prep...defo not going to win! ground going against neptune and kauto..im just not sure he is as good as he was.
really keen on barbers shop ew....step up to 3miles 2 will really suit, just think he has a chsnce of outstaying kauto up that hill!

rest of selections:
130 starluck
205 aachen
240 cape tribulation (chariot charger ew)
320 barbers shop ew
400 murphys cardinal ew
440 big eared fran (definately a pipe winner)
515 poquelin (andy stewarts best chance of the meeting)

think and hope today will be a profitable one!!

good luck everyone ;D

With a parents evening last night followed by the City match I"ve had no time to pick my nags for today. Luckily I had a free period today and have now invested in the following

1.30 starluck, ebadiyan, reve de sivola (EW)
2.05 sunnyhillboy, raise your heart (EW)
2.40 Alpha ridge
3.20 Exotic dancer (EW) barbers shop (EW)

with the rest to follow once i get home

Currently have an ROI of 25% for the meeting after my late wins yesterday.

I have gone for a few trend busters today so the only selection that I really reccommend is Alpha ridge in the 2.40.

Good luck everyone. First off in 20 minutes
