... going nowhere today ... crippled myself A8 into AK ... and then choose to push TJ in JJ ... T on the river ... bad timing ...

Spurs came good ... fair play to them.

Pokerstars $80k in play ... 75% of average at the first break ... all pretty standard stuff ...

Been a long time since I felt a card rush ...

Sunday Warm Up - No cards - ducked and dived then shoved 97s into QQ and TT ... no miracle escape despite picking up an up and down straight draw on the turn.

Feb 13th official weigh in ... 15 stone 0 ... BMI 30.11 ... LOL ... I remain "obese" ... still 13 lbs down ... and going to kick on ... all my poker time has been re-directed to work for the moment!

Poker reports flying in from my various friends at the table ... making me hungry for some action ...

Chinese banquet tonight ... perhaps back to the rowing marathons tomorrow!?!

Oh god it"s the race back to nothing again ...

Betfair - Eyes Wide Shut in play ... but earlier I played some blackjack ... -£100

AA dealt ... split them ... dealt 2 and 2 ...

Next up dealt 55 ... double up ... dealt a 2 ... no help ... dealer never busting ...

Palm Court Hotel - a decent venue - and poker every night except Saturday - very weird - high buy in tournament - but 830pm starts (and I guess small fields) - late night for little hay ... maybe something for the future?

Break 1 of the Pokerstars $80k ... 6.9k vs 4.1k average ... 196th of the 1693 left ... active first hour well rewarded with a JJ limp which was raised by the big blind ... I elected to go all in ... and called by 87s (under no pressure) ... oh well ... take that ...

Quick start in session too ... now 9.1k vs 4.3k average ... AT in T-high flop ... A turn ... 85th of 1619 left ...

Nice to be back on table ... seems like forever ...

... mmm ... I limped in with TT flop 398 ... turn 7 ... money in ... vs 89 ... wounded I get involved with A8 ... into T8x ... vs AT ... this is the year of the overpair ... though the straight-forward play keeps me out of trouble ... a lot to be said for ABC poker at times ...

Maybe time to play some cash!?!

Cash going nowhere ... hitting second pair every flop ... minor loss and run ...

Eyeing up the £300+30 on Feb 27th (London Poker Masters)

Saturday morning ... I wake at 5.50am ... first act is to write a to do list ... I think I can take this as a sign that I am working just a little too hard!

Second Act - APAT - Great Schedule - well thought out - feedback taken - bravo!

Third Act - Poker ... let"s see how I fair??

A good cash session went wrong once my super aggressive play was looked up ... fair play ... minor profit not a bad thing when half asleep ...

Minor positive cash session ... well up ... but caught twice by two pairs on the river ... mmm

Super sleepy now ... a flaw in getting up at 5.50am ...
