... well no black belt poker for me ... though "my" home game player Wilson Chan is sitting second from Day 1A ... will he take it down ... I bet £5 on him at 100/1 ... plus a few other bets ...

Weird the vicarious pleasure of a late night text from your mate who is playing and running good ...

Break 2

93rd or 93 (of 294) in a $100k Pokerstars number ... few cards ... lost the key race AJ vs 99 (vs J9) ...

The next blind puts me all in ... 36 paid ... for what it is worth ...

Not sure that I want to go dancing into negative territory again ... something to ponder unless I pull off the miracle escape ...

Quad me up ... it is the classic false dawn ... but so what T6s ... becomes a very short stacked flsuh ... I am still last of 89 ... but can at least fold the 48s in the SB ...

Next up ... A6o fold ... to the earlier raise ... mmm

Next up ... J9s shove ... called by A8o and out ... oh well ...

Next up the $27.50 4 pack MTT ... late reg ... RT -$10 ... I manage the correct top pair fold early ... pretty pleasing 4 seated ...

Now three seated ... crazy stuff ...

Perhaps Scotland will create me a re-buy for this evening!?!

Rugby is pretty dull at the best of times but this game is ridiculous ...

In the 4 seater ... A9 into K9x ... okay with the flop checked ... turn is an 8 ... time to game ... into the slow played K9 ... mmm .... 45th of 356 - 36 paid ...

3 or 4 seated ... good fun ...

RT - Level - maybe I should just stop! A year and two days and back to where I started!

You can never stop ... after all it is the holy grail ...

Rugby madness ... I punted Scotland ... but took the 15/1 draw saver at half time ...

Played the Betfair $12k ... cardless ... lost a race 77 vs AK

Cash - lost a buy in - $100

Flopped a set with 22 into 2KJ ...slow play for value ... J not too bad on the turn ... K on the river ...

Next up flop a set on raggy board ... bet out due to draws called by gutshot ... which duly hits ... lost the minimum ...

Last up flop top pair ... happy to get chip in versus flush draw ... which duly hits ...

It"s bed time ...

Played some good stuff ... to win 2 double or nothing sit and gos ... then hit a super weak mode and lost the third trying to limp to the money ... start point top pair versus flopped trips but super weak thereafter ... (idiot) ...

I guess everything is a lesson ... but I learned that one a long time ago ...

APAT League match ... super strong ...

Betfair Eyes Wide Shut just about to start ...

Manic day 7am-7pm running around ... then then an epic squash match 3-3 and 7 points each after 50 mins ... my opponent found the little extra to go 4-3 up ... my failed drop shot in the next leading to another 6-9 game ... 5-3 down ARGH!!!

The hero come back bites the dust and I lose 7-3 ... body is mumbling complaints ...

Horses coming to the rescue ... Big Zeb imperious if friendless in the market (despite a great write up in the Racing Post) ... 8/1 to 12/1 sweet ...

No such luck in the 5.15pm ... but back in the black ...

Let"s see is that lasts past the end of the night!?!

Council Tax ... sigh!

My council has stopped separately collecting paper to recycle ... so sent me a leaflet (on recycled paper) to explain how I could recycle my recycling box ... this included changing it"s use for example to put soft toys in it ... the thing is they are recycling my money to send me this leaflet ...

That said it is better than the stuff I get from David Cameron ...

As an aside I was thinking about Chorlton and the Wheelies ... all pretty disturbing ...

So putting this together ... I have a vision of the next Government on wheels ... it"s like some epic roller disco ...

Poker wise - played on an epic cash table last night ... 25p\50p blinds ... sat down with £60 ... raised everything ... showed everything ... early position raise to £2.50 with 94o ... flat called ... so playing with trash out of position ... here comes the flop ... why it is 944 ... now given my approach so far I have to bet ... so I go for the weakish £5 bet ... which is called ... promising ... turn is a Queen ... I bet £10 which is called ... river is a brick ... I dwell ... and bet £10 ... very surprised by the insta all in ... I insta call ... vs 43s ... now in a sense the money is always going in but great fun to play when the starting hands can be anything!

Knocking off taxis ... RT +$97
