Do it.

Took my profits out of hung parliament bet - after last night it might just be a gift for Cameron.

Clegg"s Euro position pretty pathetic ... anyway ... thoughts are creeping towards poker ...

If Lambert ever gets the Celtic job - would be nice to feed profits into a decent buy-in event.

I love the lunacy of flying to Aberdeen for the APAT ... need to look at calendar again ...

Behold the poker disaster ... two pairs vs flushville * 2 ... indeed two pairs also found a river straight ... oh well ...

APAT tomorrow ...

APAT paid for ... no joy in the Guineas ... not sure how you could call Makfi at 33/1 ... weird race ...

Back to sleep now - cannot lose money in your sleep!

APAT 46th of 90 ... no great play from me ... but no great cards and hit no flops playing loose.

Killer hand once short JJ vs KQ vs AT ... lost the main pot ... to the AT call (who was short). (Would have moved to middle of the pack)

Then KTs vs 66 race ... K6x ... it"s all standard ...

SCOOP ... $1m g"tee ... nice first hour well ahead ...

2nd hour - few cards - so a little slippage - but ousted in the classic race QQ vs AKs ... not sure it merited the 80BB shove by the AKs ... was praying for a JJ or TT ... but it is the classic race loss ...

Crippled I "choose" to shove AJ into AQ and KK ... sweet ...

May 3rd ... start of the second phase of my business ... a strange contrast between the last six months and the six before ...

These days I am lucky to have a clear day to play cards ... last summer ... it was a planned assault on the big Sunday tournaments ... I am a little annoyed that I am yet to post a big result ... that said I know that if I really posted a big big result I would be ahead of the curve in terms of luck.

Sift through the Hendon Mob and you find people hitting £60k and then nothing big for 5 years (and counting) ... scary stuff ... a joy to do it once ... but how much luck and how much skill?

There are times when I play crazy cards ... and there is a bit of leakage too ... but there will be a day when I post something big ... the question is when!?! So many very good players on the loose ... couple that with the auto shoving AK"ers ... and you"re fooked unless you are Batfink and your "wings are like a shield of steel" ...

Hung Parliament ... assuming ... I "feared" the Conservatives would do it ... amazing that they haven"t ... let the games begin ...

What now?

Cameron vs Brown Heads Up?

All parties in an MTT with stacks dependent on the number of seats won, kind of like the GUKPT Champion of Champions.

Democracy clearly doesn"t work, time to give poker a chance...

... you know a short stack would win it ... on some improbable run of rivered straights and flushes ... too risky ...

Defo the weirdest election in my life time.

In Scotland ... not a single seat changed hands ...

Given the circumstances - how could the Conservatives fail to win - everyone a loser?

Next election in the Autumn ... (I wonder the odds ... as always!).

Poker - it is looking like my calendar is conspiring to get me to the Aberdeen Pro League ... travel from Edinburgh much more appealling than a morning flight from London ...
