Medicine reversal ...

Raise in front of me ... I flat call with 22 ... flop is A2x ... two spades ... looks like the dream flop ...

He bets ... I call ... turn is a spade ... mmm ... he bets I call ...

River is a brick ... I make a small bet ... which he pushed all on ... I guess the chance for me to fold for $100 ... but no such skill ... tough with trips ... he holds 58s for the ropey flush ... fair play though ...

If you use the stick ... you must take the stick ...

Nice to be positive again - albeit a dip at the end of the weekend ...

Betfair $12k spinning ...

Last night - money in with all the draws and no saviour vs the reasonable top pair call ...

Just moved to 6th of 165 with the 45s special ...

It"s all down hill from here ...

... and it was down hill and into a pond ...

Call the short stack shove with A2s vs 66 ... and then push with "live" cards and get dominated ...

It"s all a bit like a slow moving fruit machine ...

Albeit with £100 just placed on Armenia to win the Eurovision song contest ... this could the greatest/worst bet I have ever placed ... just under 12/1

I have not heard the song ... it"s just any two cards all in ...

... Armenia doing my proud now 7/1 ... it"s like an epic gamble ...

I could chop my position to a £400 free roll ... clearly the sensible thing to do ... but we wont do that!!!

Still to hear the song ... any feedback?

... so I hear the song is "good" ... fence 1 cleared ...

I hired a guy whose company is called "Gardenutter" to sort out my garden ... so my terracota lions no longer peer through the jungle ... I like this sort of company naming ...

I close my eyes and think of the animals I can eat for breakfast ...

Solid business naming is important. My two favourites are a chippy called For The Love Of Cod and a Chinese restaurant in Shirley, near Solihull. I"ll let you guess the name of that one...

For the Love of Cod ... strong contribution ...

I liked the chain of sandwich shops called or owned by "Roland Butter" ...

Is the answer to the Chinese in Shirley ... The Shirley Temple ... or something even more spurious ...

Good mini-cash session for +$130 ... netting off a $60 entrance to the $12k ... the perfect backdrop to the Eurovision ...

Interesting betting on the Eurovision ... was a chance to trade as prices are over-reacted to post performance but I am sticking to my guns on the slightly drifting Armenia ... a catchy tune ... and a beautiful singer ... is that enough?

Money in for the Turkish rock act ... and for the feisty German starlet ...

Market will go crazy when the voting starts ...
