Derby day aggression turning into dust ...

Not sure what my thoughts are with regards to poker tonight ...

Random drift on The Hendon Mob lead to the news a new poker club to be opened in Central London ...

Great news ...

Half way through the field in Pokerstars $100+9 - $45k g"tee

TT vs AK

Earlier found further losers on the horses ...

Betfair $12k is now going to get very tempting ...

The good, the bad and the ugly from me.

Betfair $12k

Out with AT vs QJ ... but got into trouble earlier with a fourth spade on the board ... forcing me to fold.

Nothing inspired ... but something ABC is enough ... regroup and return.

With the Bluff room at the Mint (South Kensington) having recently opened, it"s all go in central London.

Surprised this Fox place calls itself London"s first poker club - won"t our Int/Gutshot friends have something to say about that? Also hope it doesn"t reduce the donations at the Empire, a 30 second walk away.

I think the International is a "private members club" where people happen to play poker ... I could be wrong ...

I was always very keen to support the gutshot/International - but often fields very thin (these days).

Maybe academic for me at the moment ... "need" to work six days a week.

I was thinking about my poker plan yesterday ... I manage to play some crazy poker at times yet just about stay level ... but not an end in itself.

Probably time for a break - and work things out (and bet on the World Cup!)

Operation clawback is now in force ... good cash session ... no risks for $160 ...

Also slashing back on other events ... so the Sunday Pro League in Aberdeen goes ... as does the heads up in Nottingham ... Pro League too ... switched to day 1B in the Main Event ... looking forward to that ...

Another day ... and the betting Gods look to be in a different frame of mind.

Tony Ayres backed at 11.5 layed at 2.82 ... a free roll for $245 ... take it down son ...

Wade all over the place ...

That was just outrageous - a one outer ...

Looked like he had blown it with 5 darts missed for a 9-6 lead ... but with Wade have three darts at 40 ... and Ayres on 152 the writing on the wall ...

Unbelievable match play ... was spewing when he hit a 93 two dart finish when requiring 73 too ...

Great finishing ... Wade will be sick ...

Next up Anderson vs Hamilton ... annoyingly for me Hamilton is the value at 2.74 ... I guess I hope he is throwing first ... wins leg one ... and then Anderson goes to even money ... such is betfair ...

RT -$559 ... a crazy betting weekend ... what next??

Is John Gwynne the worst commentator ever?

He doesn"t even look at the scores ... before making absurd comments ...

Anderson annoyingly good ...  monster scorer ... but he will fold vs Taylor ...

Looks like I will unpick some of my good work ...

I guess I will have to write off Hamilton but not sure he is a 49/1 shot ...

Hamilton averages 100+ and loses 6-10 ... fair play to Anderson who should now steamroller Ayres ...

Wes Newton next up - just over evens to win 10-7 or better looks decent ...

Played some heads up ... got well ahead ... then chipped away when letting opponent hit a second pair ...

Can the Sunday Warm Up lure me in ...
