World Cup shocks not helping my gambling ... RT -$589

England Vs USA seeming like a dream performance compared to last night"s - hard to remember England playing worse than that.

What is Capello doing? Does he have a side bet with Domenech on who can destroy the national team?

Still favourites to win the group - and could well get Ghana in the last 16 - the wheels could still be put back on the bus - but who is driving it?

Betfair $10k in play ... a typically impatient start has left me work to do!

Have chopped my Villa bet for a £983 free roll to be top scorer ... so perhaps that will wipe the defecit??

Sunday Train to Scotland ...

Have reviewed three weeks worth of email and now starry eyed ...

Looking forward to the football feast to follow:

I am minded to bet on the 1-1 draw at 90 mins ... Mehmut Ozil is the danger ... I cannot see England keeping a clean sheet.

Then it is a massive coin flip.

Will play the APAT ... might get drawn into the Warm Up!?!

No poker - but have taken £600 profit in closing Villa freeroll.

The minute that I closed it - I thought I should have let it run - with regards to the 3/4th play-off nonsense goals.

I chopped most of my Germany bet to win the World Cup - spew ... though won money vs England ... losing it on Argentina.

I watched the Argentina vs Germany game in a bar in Biarritz on a stag do ... strange affair with me supporting Argentina with all my Scottish freinds supporting Germany ... and even more oddly lost of French people with Germany strips and flags ... apparently they have been supporting year since before the 1998 champtionships ... super weird ... anyway fun was had by all!

I had £5,000 profit on a Paraguay win ... so feeling slightly hard done by there ... Spain are just so boring to watch though Villa does have golden boots at the moment ... though of course missing "that" penalty vs Honduras which would have meant me keeping much more of my bet open.

Sigh ... it"s just an endless conspiracy to keep me broadly level!

Oops should net off my Stosur bet on Wimbledon (RT - $154)

Epic attempts to play the £150 freezeout at the International thwarted by:

1. Two bottles of wine
2. Five hours of blazing sun
3. A change of start time - I think ...

Probably £150 saved!

This morning a minor cash foray ... flopped two pairs then squandered the profits ...

New poker plan required ...

Narrowly failed to qualify for the $40k g"tee on Betfair ... ran out of cards ... shoved on the button with the monster 92s ... called by KTo ... straight on the river ... fair play ... earlier lost the min with KQs into Qxx ... vs the min raising AA ...

A little cash progress ... mostly offset by a struggle in the $10K on Betfair ...

AJ rammed into AA in the BB ... mmm

All the fun of the fair ...

QQ vs AK (AMRN) K on the river standard in the Betfair $10k ... I had been playing some absurd hands so no complaints ... just a race ...

Earlier playing cash ... finding some amazing ways to lose ...

Q9 in Q3Q ... vs QT
KQ into KQxx ... vs 94s ... which makes the flush on the river ...

I was there from the off ...

Take it down ... you were going well the other night too ... where did you finish?

I will be back to working crazy hours again tomorrow - so I guess back up for air on Sunday.

(Actually I do have my big home game on Friday ... should be very interesting ... a couple of the guys are back from Vegas ... I will need to find some patience! ... batting on a 4 home game winning streak)
