You have been a busy boy, nice to hear work is on the up. VBL in the bigger tourneys.
Hope to c u @ Dtd in August

Cheers Paul

Thanks for the luck ... I need it ...

I was playing a $100 heads up earlier ... got to 3860 vs 140 chips in my favour ... I then lost 4 all ins in a row to win it ... this put us about level ... only for me to lose to a runner-runner straight ...

OMG ... you have to smile ... makes you realise the difficulty of making hay ...

But I guess the Hay Time will be all the sweeter ...

Heads Up

Played an ultra tight opponent ... dominated throughout ... managed to lose A5 vs A4 but kept the head to win ...

Well it"s time to watch the Karate Kid ... and for the second time in a day my heads up quest has been thwarted by a ropey flush drawn on the river ...

Such a difference between what I have a 5-5 record and what would have been 7-3 ... mmm ... almost forgot the runner-runner straight defeat ...

Mmmm ... looking forward to the next set of 10 ...

Good grief 18th of 100 (15 paid) ... AQ rammed into KK ... in Betfair $7k g"tee ($10k in the pot) ... not the best of timing!

Give me rags ...

Break 2 of the Betfair $30k g"tee

A slow start but made it to 4th of the 286 starters before losing KK vs AJ ...

12th of 104 left (40 paid) - just about double the average. 55BB"s left ... nice structure ...

Card dead and out in 55th ... lost a race vs a short stack AK vs JJ ... river J ... then QJs into KK and forced to push A5 into AQ ... who flopped the flush ... poor timing at the moment ...

On holiday and little poker - must be strange times ...

Enjoying the rest - and the flurries of poker activity - not feeling the love at the moment.

Looking forward to an epic trip to Nottingham - an honour to play for Scotland - and then a chance to play aggressively in the main event.

Sushi/Sashimi feast last night - slightly odd to have fish couriered to Scotland - life is tough ...

Dinner over - time to get stuck into the sparkling Rose Cava ... light fizzy bubbles ... and a persistent mousse according to the bottle ...

I like the idea of a persistent Moose much better ...

We then got talking with regards to absurd products names ... I think this is the winner ...

Betfair 2

No STG"s (Holdem) what is going on ... a temptation to play heads up Omaha but not a wise one ...

Played a random turbo last night ... blinds AJ vs AA ... mmm

Watched Inception earlier - pretty tedious tale of spinning tops ...

The dream within the dream ... not helped when I fell asleep ... but that tells you enough.

No cards in the APAT last night ... well except the AA to which everyone folded ...

Today a rare trip to the tenpin bowling lanes at Carlisle ... pretty scrappy to start but managed to score a 206 in game 6 ... quite satisfying but 18 easy points lost on the way ...

As so two weeks to go until Nottingham ... really looking forward to some face-2-face action.
