Satuday night - another card dead special ... finally button shoving 53s into ATs of the same suit ... live cards ... but no help ...

Not much left of a very bad running poker year ... large gaps in play ... but pretty sure that it is getting harder to make any money ... more and more about winning flips and running good ... or winning when 70/30, 80/20, 90/10 ahead ... all that said I am looking forward to having time to play more.

Need to ponder Vegas ...

APAT League match

Impatient with nothing happening ... hit an ace on the turn ... which made a straight for opponent ...

K8 in K8J vs KJ ... probably lost the min smelling a rat ... but then gave the last few chips away A9 button vs AK in the BB.

First real poker for a while ...

$12k Betfair g"tee SH Deepstack - a nice tournament - early stages - I am 16.6% down - looking to be super active vs tight table.

Main loss - probably losing the min to the Ace on the turn - holding second pair.

Anyway - lots of play left and loose image could pay well??

Aside - Gary Anderson at 14/1 for the darts seems way too big ... maybe my saviour!

(My poker vibes poor - out before the first break!)

Oh well - a nice $10 re-buy to raise my spirits!

Wow some great darts ...

Anderson 4 Priestley 2 ... could have been 4-0 but lost the fourth set with a 110.8 average.

A bit wobbly when under pressure - but amazing stuff.

Poker RT since start -$3200 - overall sporting RT - $400 ... nearly 21 months of slog.

So many nearly run things but who cares??

Pondering how much harder it is to make another money these days vs say 2/3 years ago.

I think the answer is a lot harder!

So what is the plan? Stay in play - get lucky? No time to play massive volumes of MTTs, no desire to play STTs or grind cash ... maybe just head to Vegas!?

Right back on the bike ... but the bike has wonky wheels ... I am the clown.

Betfair $12k - SH Deepstack - One hour in I am 30 chips in profit ... started with 5000 chips - lost nearly all in the blinds QQ vs AKs ... then ran into three straights ... but got lucky with KT vs AQ ... and well in play!

Meanwhile in the $10 re-buy ... its KK vs A6 vs A9 vs 99 .. Ace on the flop ... and I am not the chip leader!

Choose a spot - any spot ... how about KQ into AQ ... no help ... 27th of 632 ... card dead for an hour before exit ...

It"s the classic tale ... a minor cash ... which promised more ...

Aye - all a bit tedious at times - play for hours and lose the coin flips ... or last night run into the dominant hand.

Tempting to play again tonight!

Darts bet is going great guns ... Garry Anderson in stunning form ... would be a great start to 2011 ... and I dare say might fund a few poker trips.

Betfair Live at Fox Poker looks good Feb 12/13th.

Fantastic result for Anderson tonight mate, bets looking good after his crushing of Barney. Here"s hoping he takes it further and keeps the consistency.

... a fantastic two results!

I have taken a g"teed £300 profit out - with an extra £945 if he wins it.

Webster was pretty impressive tonight.

I bet on Webster to beat Taylor at 9/2 and then locked £110 profit when Taylor was threatening a comeback.

I might take a little more out tomorrow before the off - doesn"t feel that evens is correct if either Lewis or Webster step it up ... will probably have a go at Webster tomorrow at 6/5 vs Lewis but looks like another tough match.

Still pondering the darts shake up ...

Had a bizarre notion that Sasa Papic would score today ... 24/1 at any time of the match ... worth a tenner ...

Expect Rangers to dominate today ...

... not sure where Rangers were today ... so bad ... I guess my nonsense Papac bet saved me from having a lump on Rangers to win ...

Next up Invermess to win at St Johnstone ... 12/5 shot despite Inverness"s away record being 540 and St Johnstone"s home record being 205 ...

Tempted to play the Sunday Warm Up at 6pm ...

Also I mental note to play their "Kick Off" event on future Sunday"s - 1pm kick off - 1076 runners today - $100+9 - I guess finishing at a sensible 8/9pm.

What is going on with Chelsea ... surely a delight!
