Horses

Once I read the form properly decided to have a mini-lump on

Alarazi (2.05) 8/1
Long Run (3.20) 9/2 and 5/1 split (lazy)

Infact I never fully checked the odds at all ... (mmm)

I will suffer the £2070 return if it comes in!

I also had a ridiculous treble not featuring the form guide on :

Brampour (1.30) at 16/1
Get me out of Here (2.05) at 14/1
Long Run (3.20) at 9/2

£10 to win ... £14,025 ... feels like Vegas if that one comes in ...

Work done - I sprinted off to the International Club for there £60 Behemoth event ...

It"s really £70 in ... £60+5+5 for extra chips. (45 runners)

18000 chips - Level 1 25/50 ... mmm

I raise with KQs to 150 ... I get raised to 1000 ... I fancy a look ... and the flop is the beautiful ... Axx all clubs for the nut flush ... now how to make the most from the hand ... mmm

I check ... and amazingly my opponent goes for the overbet ... 5000 ... I dwell and call ... turn doesn"t look like it can help him ... so again I check ... and amazingly he goes all in ... he has AK for top pair ... and 360 BBs gone in a flash ...

Tournament is then a gradual climb upwards ... but I soon have Miss crazy on my left ... she is stacked due to hitting everything ... winning TT vs AA aipf ... and flatting with J9 vs AA ... J9x flop ... against my A8 into Axx she turns the straight but wins the min from me ...

Anyway this is all shaping up for a terrible fall ... but with blinds 1000/2000 she raises UTG to 5000 ... Button Flats for 5000 ... SB all in for c22000 ... I jam with c60000 : AKo ... she thinks for 30 secs and announces she has folded Queens ... her stack is 130k ish ... amazing ... mini speech "I know you have an ace ..." (smile)

Flop QKc .. and I am in the honey vs 99 ... river is the absurd Q ... for what would have been quads ...

Anyway ... 100k stack built vs 50k average ... a standard time to go card dead ... folding trash to make the final table ... with 55k ... soon in play with a JJ vs AJ double up ... but with 66 in the BB .. I re-shove the button "steal" ... who insta-calls with JJ ... no help ... 6th for £162 ... mmm ...

Some wild and wonderful players ... but some very interesting hands early when you are so deep ...

I also made a tiny profit playing cash in the break ... £1/£1 I make the compulsory straddle £2 ... 7 handed all call ... I make the obligatory raise to £17 ... I am only playing £110 ... next to act flats ... which is horrible as I am playing 75o ... mmm ... back to the SB ... who goes all in for £31 ... oh dear ... I have to call ... called behind ... flop is 872 ... mmm ... I check ... checked behind ... and then checked the whole way down with the board pairing on the river to give me a split pot vs the £31 all in holding 97o ... weird ...

Moral ... play ABC (at least for a few mins when you sit down!)

Looking forward to APAT stuff tomorrow ... will sit on hands for early levels ...

Session +$143 (playing $1/2) ... was +$300 ... ran out of cards and not requisite patience ... still a decent day ...

Time to take a break and be fresh for this eveing.

Pleasing to finally see Scotland win a game of Rugby!

22nd of 461 in 888.com $25k ... AJ into Axx vs AQ ... mmm

22nd of 204 in APAT ... BB ... JT ... becomes two pairs on the flop ... a great chance to triple up?? ... well actually in desparate trouble needing to hit the Jack for a house ... pretty short ... would have been a mega fold ...

Great full moon outside ... time to dance with the werewolves ...

Cheers mate - consistent results - some of the play highly variable!

Luck at the end required ... I have cashed the last three tournaments I have played ... 19th from 112 in the previous one with 10 paid ... it"s all good ... but much better to win one and but eliminated early in the rest.

I have a cash game on March 29th, and then the Black Belt Live, probably little bits of cash to be played in between ...

In another Bridget Jones"s diary moment ... 15 stone 5 this morning ... (16 stone 8 at Christmas) ... more keen to kick this on ... than more MTTs.

Great turnout last night ...

Where"s your cash game on the 29th?

Glad you used my chips to cash last night. Been rethinking both the big pots but think I lost the min with JJ < KK (?) and then once I let you see a flop with your raggedy 6 it was always going to be tough against your flopped trips. So annoying when you rep what the other guy"s got...

A couple of mini-cash sessions ... +$134 ... could have been more if I had shut up shop ... L

(But of course - I then re-opened the shop - and lost $109) ...

Will be tempted to watch the Greyhounds instead ... not sure about any poker yet!?!

Unbelievable cash session ... escaped with a loss of $180

Lost to flopped flush (I have a mid flush by the end)
Flopped two pairs ... vs mid stack ... Nut flush on turn
Flopped two pairs ... vs mid stack ... Straight on the turn

How to come back ...

Rivered straight flush ... all in 30 mins ...

Decided to cash out and watch the boxing ... Jalmaine Smyle looking in tremendous shape ... 5/2 vs Dilks ... madness ... got a chunk on him to win it now ...

GAME ON!

KKxx vs AAxx which they stangely semi slow rolled ...

Still happy to leave with $60 profit.
