RT =$2,930

Always time for a quick spin at the Eyes Wide Shut on Betfair ...

I folded the first 17 hands ... then pushed all in with AQ ... called by 98s ... and they hit the flush on the river.

Fair play.

RT +$2977

Little foray on Betfair to regain last night"s entrance fee.

$47 up ... would have been more but for flopped flush.

Then got killed TT vs KQ with a board of 8888 ...

RT +$2983

Playing $55+5.50 Double or nothing games.

Inspired folds leading to a neat 3-0 start ... but AK vs A5 loss (flopped Straight) ... has pegged me back.

Weather marginal but looks like time to pitch and putt ... see if I can actually hit the ball straight!?!

Free Rolling on Man U tonight +£210 on them winning the title through the various trades through the season.

Lost -£90 on Scot Div 1 - not yet netted off.

Lost $30 on a Qualifier to the $100k g"tee on Racing Post Poker - will buy in for $130+10 - was only 556 runners last time up.

10000 chips 20 min Levels - 8pm kick off.

Potential for a very long night - but need to take a walk and clear the head.

Netting off the $140.

RT +$2993.

Still pondering whether to close out Man U for the Champions League ... currently +£568 for the win ... zero if they lose.

Made it half way through Betfair $20k - lost a race

Made it into last quarter of Racing Post $100k - lost a race.

Never really running well in either ... absolutely no cards in the Racing Post one ... just hopeless ... in 3.5 hours I spend about 5 mins in the black the rest a classic small stack game.

Lost $48 on Eurovision betting - should have made money on Iceland (with Norway) but thinking too slow - with two tournaments running.

RT +$2836

Proving very difficult to crack the $3k mark ...

RT +$2744

Cash was going very well until a wild few minutes.

Playing two tables and within a hand I had QQ vs AA and QQ vs QQ (split) against the same player.

5 mins later TT vsTT vs QQ ... great.

Poker Stars - Sunday Warm Up.

646th from 3702 : 540 paid.

AQ into A6 killing me in the end.

Avoided going bust with smaller full house early on - but never really running at full speed.

Few playable hands - so soon playing push or fold (mainly fold).

Win the AQ hand and pretty likely to make the money - or have chances to "gamble" when likely to be ahead.

Heading to Glasgow tomorrow for a day of drinking.

Tuesday "climbing" Ben Lomond

Wednesday - assuming that I am still alive - another mountain

Thursday - Monday - Friends up in Scotland.

May 27th - Wednesday - International Club - £200 Freeze Out.

Betfair Eyes Wide Shut:

Auto Pilot Tournament - structure very quick - 5 minute Levels.

RT +$2,290 plus any winnings.

Pondering Vegas - Long way to go for massive field events.

2nd place at the International in their £200 f/o was good - but it relied on a QQ vs AA.

More than happy to take the variance in my favour.

Current feel is that I will look to qualify - and perhaps ramp up efforts of the WSOPE?

Mental note to re-read some articles/books - feed the poker brain.

On a train.

Not going to be drawn into the world of disconnection anxiety.

Managed to lose $15 this morning killing time.

RT +$2,500

Now that is a nice round number!

There is now a chase forming in my mind to fly to Vegas to play an event!

I have also been looking at the European Events(non-EPT) which by repute are a lot softer.

London = sunny
Glasgow = rain

Tempted by going to the ALEA this evening - but may just eat and drink wine.

Ben Lomond tomorrow.

Back from the hills!

Climbed Ben Lomond (974m) on Tuesday and Beinn Ime on Wednesday (1014m) weather pretty mixed so sun/rain/hail blustery winds and when you get to the top an earie nothing but mist/cloud.

Legs are still sore from elavating 100kg (me) up into the sky ... today will likely be a lazy day!

Wednesday night - Arrochar - caught the end of the UEFA Cup and Shaktar raking back $165 ... making up for my Greyhound Derby defeats -$120.

I am cashing in my Man U bet for the Champions League - placed after they tore up Inter Milan in Milan. +$405.

I sort of want Man U to win - but I think they may stumble.

Tempting to steam into some golf bets???

RT +$2950
