Random Aside:

I was  thinking about the time someone cold called me and went onto say - I can save you 10% on your electricity, 10% on your gas and 10% on your water charges ... that"s a 30% saving ... GENIUS!

Not sure why this popped into my head ... but it"s a fond memory ...

Thats my lesson plan sorted for tomorrow

Poker Wise - I play the Eyes Wide Shut on Betfair ... $50+5

RT -$662

Try to squeeze the value from AA ... albeit with a pre-flop re-raise ... AA intp 55T (2 clubs) ... vs KJ  of clubs ... all in post flop standard flush on the turn ...

I am not sure what the bright side is here ...

Lazy Friday planned and then a "medival feast" including a leg of pork that has been marinating for 5 days ... and a pudding garnished with sugared rose petals ...

Managed to make $3 profit in a $10 115 runner event ... when I rammed 33 into 99 ... quick blinds ... 18th of 115.

RT -$659.

Something to build on!?!

Slightly West of Lisbon, Portugal in the North Atlantic Ocean. Precisely.

... great work chiefs ... this is what they should be teaching in schools ... this is what will save the UK.

I am sure that if a newspaper ran a story - "Atlantis found" - with this as the rationale people would believe it.

Double aside - if you wrote a story in Scotland that the Government was going to build train lines to the top of all the Munro"s in Scotland people would believe it.

No lessons this morning ... time for some quiet time ....

... continuing my nostalgic trip through memory lane ... I have just watched the end of Play your Cards Right on Challenge.

For the Car ...

Start card 7 ... girl "change it change it" ... guy "don"t change it, we might get an 8"

They change it ...

Changed to a Ten ... both of them "HIGHER, HIGHER" ... the "turn" is an ACE ... such is the genius of probability ...
