Down next Tues if you fancy a late night at the Vic then? Or at least a bit of cash at the Empire?

I am in Scotland next Tuesday ...

I am still alive - but donked a few chips trying to make a hero call ...

16th of 29 left.

Break 4

6th of 6

Two large stacks (182k and 92K)

Then all up for the bronze medal ... (30k,25k,21,14k)

Blinds about to move to 1000/2000 (200)

So I am fold or shove where I have been for some time!

Lost half my chips again with 4 clubs to a flush on the bubble ... I have two pair!

RT +$512

Knocked out in 6th place with JJ vs KK - no escape from that one.

First time that I have been positive RT for a while!

Pretty solid in these Betfair $18k events, 12th,12th,6th in the last three from c145.

Knock outs

QQ vs KK
77 vs 66
JJ vs KK

Will be very tempting to play face to face tomorrow night ...

RT +$463

Got coolered with trip 8"s on the river vs the made (invisible) 57 (hole cards) straight ...

Fought back - only to ram AJ into AA ...

Fought back again ... and left with minor losses ...

Time to work ... and be merry ... big wedding weekend for me ... by Sunday I will be weakened ...

No not me ... my old and great friends Jim and Susie!

One of great occasions where I know both sides of the party really well.

Tomorrow night a dinner, and then a full day of fun on Saturday, wedding breakfast on Sunday and home.

Really looking forward to it.

Pokerstars $40k g"tee and Betfair $18k g"tee tonight.

Good start in the $40k : 28th of 388 - long long way to go.

RT +$200 (with the following punt in play!)

£70 treble on

Partick Thistle to win Scottish Div 1 @11/2
Stirling to win Scottish Div 2 @ 7/4
Livingston to win Scottish Div 3 @ 13/8

Returns? £3,284.53

I think Livingston are a cracking bet - only full time side in the Div - have won 5 from 6.
Assuming Stirling don"t go bust (surely they can find £69k) -they are 5 points clear in a weak division.
Partick - second last year - open division - why are Dundee 11/10 or less?

Worth a few pounds - I believe.

Signs that your diet needs improvement:

I walk into my local greasy spoon -to be welcomed - "usual Sir"?

Aside - Bacon+Egg Roll + (nice) coffee + (okay) OJ = £3.60 - RESULT.

Starting to think about drinking Guinness - a good sign - (to be reviewed tomorrow morning!)

RT +$168

Football bet falls of the rails ... (though season long bet starts well with two wins and a draw).

Wedding - a great bout of dancing/singing and merriment.

Siesta has sorted me out I think.

Still waiting to watch the Sunderland beach ball goal ... have always waited for this sort of thing to happen.

Aside - it made me think about a betting market once quoted on the Turkey vs England match - on first object to be thrown onto the pitch - 200/1 a Turkey ... GENIUS!

Obviously this then made me think about the Turkey - Family Fortunes episode.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M2AWKfMvDtw

It"s a good memory - worth an infinite amount.

I think this is why a large tournament vixtory is required - roll on the Sunday Warm Up!
