Out of jail with A2 vs A8 all in pre ... 228 flop ...

Killed KJ vs T3 ... for a minor profit ...

Happy Christmas ...

Betfair Eyes Wide Shut about to start ...

Played a little cash earlier ... lost all the flips and then started to bluff and show ...

Flat called with 97 ... flop 973 (all spades) ... time to get paid ... nope ... KT spades ...

Mmm ... it"s just a buy in ... but it"s not meant to work that way ... they are meant to have the overpair that I always have ... mmm

16th of 109 ... $72 back ... K9 vs Q3 ... at the end ... earlier I win QT vs QK ...

Why is poker so sick ... both ways?

Contrived to lose $8 ... was well up when I gave a card with a made straight ... river gave a higher straight ... sigh!

Classic boxing day ... football scores ... poker ... crystal maze ... though time to kick the poker into touch!

The team on the maze are the worst I have ever seen ... or should I say the worst I remember ...

Loving Birmingham at the moment ... one of the great mysteries how Scottish manager continue to prevail.

Billy Davies at Forest too ... maybe Craig Levein will waken the Scottish team ... it would please me if had could and then propel himself to the Premiership ...

Looking forward to my next bout of eating ...

A neat win in the double of nothing STG ... $55+5 ... used up about a month"s worth of cards ... AA * 3 in 60 hands ... including those shown 6 * AA in these hands ... pretty good for six handed ...

Once you make the money - auto all in for all hands - and I win them all from behind - why - why - why - not this not happen when ahead when it matters?

Pegged back in the next double or nothing ... 78s vs 55 ... delighted with the race 759 flop ... no six ... fair enough ...

Perhaps back in play for the 11pm Eyes Wide Shut going for three cashes in a row ...

Fat boy slim ... day 4 in the gym and I think the first time for a while I felt like there is fitness and enerrgy to return ... lots of it ... how pleasing ... cue a Malaysian Boxing day feast ... maybe tomorrow a Scottish feast?

Loving Liverpool ... 0-0 at HT ... not convinced it is a very strong premiership either ... few years ago it was kick ass ... now feels like Spain has marched back.

0-0 at FT ... 4/1 ... looks like a bit of value ...

RT +$362/+$630 depending on the result.

RT +$307 with the Eyes Wide Shut ... $50+5 in play ... 129 runners ... must be a record!

Not pleased with Wolves getting people sent off ...

Rather exhausted by efforts in gym ...

Ran top pair into the overpair ... lasting 16 mins ... oh well ...

... where did you finish?

I was half watching an epic DVD box set called "King on Snooker" ... strangely addictive subtitled Hong Kong number.

It is always a crapshoot at the end but three minor finishes is so tedious ... just need one big one ... anyway money went in behind ... no real complaints ...

Stayed alive when I managed to folded second pair versus top pair in the blinds ... choose not to make the maths limp with J4 ... flop 44x ... sigh ...

Poker has been pretty restricted of late ... anything happening in Sheffield Jan 4th-7th ... will be busy with work but in Sheffield ...

Welsh National look set to make me happy with Le Beau Bai running well but some of it"s jumping in the middle section was poor ... and only third in the end ... always a good feeling to have a lump on a horse ... but better if it actually does the job.

Dream Alliance was great ... but hard to pick it!

Anyway ... at the turn of the year I will be +/-$1 ... and I will kiss 2009 goodbye ...

2010 is showtime ... or so I hope!

... not usually as bad as I-Poker ... but a monster cooler ...

I am at 80% of average with 754 left (378 paid) ... got "crippled" AK vs QQ ... but a Lazarus like recovery has me in play ... K7 vs AJ ... river 7 ... then my all in squeeze with 22 ... called by AJ ... survived ...

Slumdog not as cheery as I thought it might be ... good film though.

Fingers crossed ... or is it 4th minor cash from 5 ...
