Edging back up with another mini-cash session on $.5/1 ... could have been a lot better with 24o into 22x ... but let a $74 stack hit its flush ... oh well ...

Early night ... and fresh for Sunday.

Sunday ... and not sure how fresh!?

Reflecting on "Where the Wild things are" ... a super weird film ... I think the poster for the film is better than the whole film, it makes it look like there is some form of real relationship between Max and the monsters.

In reality the story line is mega thin and the monsters generally pretty boring, it gave the feel of adults trying to remember what it was like to be a kid, but failing to get there.

On the bright side - the tails of the monsters were better than those in Avatar.

Playing like a crazy fish and I have chased the whole table away ... despite losing a buy in ... I fought back for $40 but you would have thought I would have been an ideal player to oppose.

I will wait for some action though shame to have to create an image all over again!

I am half watching "Om Shanti Om" ... pretty weird film ... at the moment a song and dance about a "dirty disco" ... there is refreshing genius in Bollywood films ... though at times it leaves me bemused ...

No opponents ... how sad ...

Hardly a pleasing session.

AK vs A9 ... loses to a straight on the river ... then versus the same player I get involved with 99 vs AQ but also find a TT to beat me up ...

Time to take a walk and think and get ready for next week ...

Slow end to the weekend, a bit card dead, and running things like AJ into JJ (short stack) ...

Watching Sky Poker : Live Poker : Bounty Hunter 12k

Surely the worst commentary ever ...

RT +$994 ... though with $57 going forward on to Arsenal to beat Man Utd ...

Last night 254th of 2980 in $80k g"tee on Stars ($150k in the pot) ... for the $57 profit ... exit hand ...

22 into 295 ... vs 99 ... no escape praying for the over pair ...

Official weigh in a very disappointing 15 stone 8 ... I don"t usually particularly buy into the turning fat into muscle argument ... but I thought I was a good bit lighter ... I feel lighter (and a lot more energy) ... but back to the machines later!

As long as you feel better and have more energy it"s obviously working -- keep it up

Quick profit on heads up ... clowning and capitalising ...

Could have been better lost flush vs house ...

Gym - defo going to keep it up - I get very well fed these days - so an extra "hurdle" ...

I also met a friendly Ice Cream seller who managed to squeeze 7 scoops in a pot at the cinema ...

Rooney goal - just fantastic - hated but fantastic ...

A2 into A249 ... money in vs AK ... King on the river ... ding ding ...

I am pretty philosophical about such things ... but also fairly tedious ... smile.

TT vs KK in the $80k g"tee on Stars ...

Transfer Window - very interesting with Spurs getting ready for an injury crisis by loaning out their Stars ...

Keane to Celtic an interesting move ... title odds 2/1 to 13/8 ...

M"boro continuing to import Scottish based players - not at all convinced.

... ten hands before bedtime always risky ... in that

(a) it becomes 1000 hands before dawn
(b) you lose TT vs JJ and AQ vs AK ... and so to bed ...

There is the other strategy ... steal the blinds and run off with a dollar ... perhaps this is how the tooth fairy keeps in money??

There is very little poker in fairy tales ... you would have thought the seven dwarves would be well up for a game of poker ... it"s a weakness ...

Anyway ... 5 hands in and I am level ...

10 hands ... -$14 ... RT +$929 ... I caught a little of the flop versus a short stack ... worth a stab ...

Good night (Vienna).

$80k g"tee in play ... current pot is $115k

About 2/3 of average at break 1 ... not really happening ... lost min with AA as overpair versus flopped set ... have to be happy with that.

Got to 15 stone 4 this morning ... healthy week ...

I think that was my weight at the start of the blog ... Dec 23rd-Feb3rd excercising to get back there!

Leeds" goalie is in tremendous form ... might be a great smash and grab to follow ... I hope so ...
