wow what a post -- I too am a great fan of F1 having dragged ger to Barca a couple of years ago. It"s cheaper to watch abroad than here in England. Will await your analysis of the actual race -- I think Button will take it by the way that car seems awesome (however if the appeal is held up he will lose the points) diffuser FTW

Lol  ;D he might not be able to fix the Ferrari for a few races, loving what Ross Brawn has done for the old Honda team. Is it the car design or the Mercedes engine, I reckon Lewis might say car design !!

Definitely the car design - McLaren are really struggling aerodynamically.

Barrichello FTW is my prediction, he tends to run better here than Jenson. Would love to see a Williams win though.

Would have to be design I think.  The problem is, Albert Park is notoriously hard on cars at the start of the season and the Brawn is likely to fall apart with 15 laps to go.  :D

Button on pole, Brawn Mercedes 1 and 2 on the grid, Ferraris and Mclarens way of the pace,,

could the title possibly be Buttons??< i very much doubt that the big boys will take to many races to get back to the front - they wil just want to pick up a fewpoints and not get left behind too early!!!

Kubica FTW

Backed Barichello before the qualifying ... (and for pole) .. so slightly annoying that Button managed to pull it out of the bag ... assuming Brawn are reliable I would be punting the pair for the title ... but will take it race by race.

Looks like the most interesting season for a long time ...

Got up early to watch this one and have to say it was well worth the lack of the sleep.

Action from the start and first corner, plenty of overtaking, the pit lane rules no more  ;D

Great to see the Brawn GP team do well and put the cat among the pigeons, would have Kubica caught Button, we will never know !! Let"s hope the action continues next weekend in Kuala Lumpar.

Go go Jensen  ;D

Great race from Hamilton, don't right him off just yet. If they can sort his car out by Spain then we will have a race on. If Brawn can take the next 3 races then for McLaren and Ferrari to improve by Spain then this will be the best F1 season ever.

Massive bonus for him and he may still get third.  Certainly put himself in a position to capitalise on the Vettel/Kubica coming together and the unreliable Ferrari"s, who"d have thought he"d of even picked up points following the practice sessions and qualifying !

Button is Even money to win the Malaysian GP ... pretty short odds ... right?

Rain predicted

Trulli 7/1
Vettel 31/1 - albeit with pit penalty from last race.

Value shots?

Aside - Button 5/2 Best Price to win the Championship - pretty short.

Sport Personality of the year.

Andy Murray 11/4
Button 9/2

If Button does win the title looks good to win this - unless Murray wins Wimbledon - a year too early?
