I"m off to try and avoid the rain at Goodwood for the afternoon.

Good luck with the bets everyone.  Will update when I get back this evening.

Back home and no rain. Shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiip It.    ;D

Have just got over the annoyance of the fourth race ruining what would have been an 8 line winning place pot.  FML

There always seems to be one race where it all goes weird and an 11-1 followed by an 18-1 with a 20-1 in 3rd was it.

Managed a very nice exacta bet in the 4:35 which paid off at nearly 10"s. (Quite mad as they were the two favourites I think) and also scrapped in with a swinger bet in th 5:10, which was by far the most exciting race of the afternoon.  Managed to get right by the winning post for that one.

Thought the Sussex stakes was disappointing as a contest goes.  Three quality horses, but one that never looked like losing it.

Oh well, suppose I will just head down there again tomorrow and do it all again.  Such is life.

And it"s Ladies Day tomorrow as well.  FML.   ;)
