Welsh National @ 2.10pm

Looks like one for the mudlarks ...

A stack of these are well handicapped but the best treated is surely LE BEAU BAI, who stormed home while his rivals could only tread water on the heavy going at this track just over three weeks ago.

11/2 g"tee at Bet Fred ... looking pretty tasty ...

... or is it now cursed ...

... in 2009 I have found all kinds of ways to lose bets ... the best one was when the horse that had been retired to stud but returned to the track for firing blanks beat my horse ... mmm

I get about a grand back on Defoe if he top scores which would be nice.

I have a chunk on Germany for the World Cup to at 14/1 ... it"s too high ...

Speaking of such - sorely tempted by Villa to beat Liverpool at 3.3 on Betfair - Villa "never" beat the big clubs at home but their home record this year is 621 vs Liverpool"s punchy away record of 315 ... not sure that warrants Liverpool being favourites at 2.48 ... given recent reverses perhaps a small bet only ...

good luck with Defoe Louis? I"d like to do that in a double with Spurs for the title. Fortunately i don"t let my heart rule my head :)

Would have said villa good bet, however never really looked to score v those red foes, so keep your bet small if you go for it.

Red Foes (Arsenal).

Waz, History is in the past mate :D

Just kidding, but if your going to the match, seriously do not park your car just up the road in the park of the small officey type Ind Estate. They cover the signs, direct you in wearing yellow coats, charge a fiver.
When you return, your car has been towed away, They charge you for both being clamped and the cost of being towed away. By the time you find out where the pound is, it has closed. Even if you get there the fine is more than the £300 you can get out from the whole in the wall. This could incur hotel costs for the night, and it"s an extra £14 a night for every night your car remains impounded. The police will not do anything and say it is a civil matter, not criminal. I thought extracting under false pretences was definately a criminal act. I can not believe this does not happen on a weekly/fortnightly basis, the clampers probably pay people to sell the lots for £5 a go. You have been warned goto Villa on the train.

Cheers Paul

... went for a mid sized bet ... I noted the Villa stat earlier ... but looks like the best Villa side since the early 80s and it must be the worst Liverpool side in living memory ... cue the tedious 0-0 ...

Not really sure what to make of the Arsenal 3 Villa 0 game ... Arsenal can roast people when in the mood and then get toasted by Chelsea.

Looking forward to the result!

... Villa got what they deserved ... pretty negative for most of it.

My second favourite bet on the night was to be the 0-0 ... which would have killed me ... fair play to Torres ... when is he off to Spain?

Got out of jail betting on Hull for the draw at 2-0 ... 27/1 ... closed at 1/2 ... wasn"t brave enough to go for the 109/1 for Hull to win ...

Big price - small bet - classic Betfair stuff - nice for it to come off.

Got me going on the cash tables and ran very well for +$567 ... tee"ing things up well for tonight ... my last night of poker for the year ...
