I have got to learn how to use this thing :)

Yes, the "on the day" reserve list will be your best bet, but it is difficult to know how many seats will be available prior to that.

Des, I"ll be running a couple of courses in Walsall.....

1. "Technology - Is it for me ?"

2. "How to screw up a simple procedure with the aid of technology" and,

3. "Recovering technological screw ups, but first, the bar...."

Feel free to sign up for all three.   :D

Having spent four hours at the w/e teaching my mother how to scanner a phot on to her computer and emailing with attachments, is there any chance of adding a course or two:

Technology - is it right for your parents?
or maybe
Correct and proper Prayers for the God of Technology?

any how sign me up for the 3rd course, or any others that start with a trip to the bar!
;D

Looking at the thread but alternates being allowed in it looks worth while for me to get there the time the casino opens and get on the reserve list on the day :)

It"s a good idea and it worked last year, but I think anybody planning on doing this must be sure that they"re happy going and not getting a seat still.

After all with alternates being allowed in the impression might be that there is a much greater chance of being able to get a seat. But this will only provide a handful of "extra" seats at most so people should only go for the reserve list on the day if they"re happy to make the effort and still not play.

Also, people (on the players list) who are delayed for whatever reason will be able to take their seats after the 2:30pm start time.  Previously, they would have been unable to play and would have called ahead and withdrawn from the event.

I"d still travel on the day though and chance my arm.

You gambled on whether the 150/300 level would be introduced.

How silly would you have looked if you"d made all that fuss and it didn"t achieve anything?
