Goodwood Festival
« on: July 27, 2010, 02:22:30 AM »
2:10 - Submariner
2:45 - Arctic Cosmos
3:25 - Red Jazz [i liked Dalghars run in the Prix Du Palais-Royal, but his lack of never running on GtoF going leaves me guessing]
4:00 - Scarlet Rocks ew [worth a punt , exposed but under-rated imho , far to big of a price]
4:35 - Kay Gee Be [others on short list were - Start Right-value gone? and My Kingdom- Morrison bandit? hard to assess but looks as if the bookies odds compilers have not took any chances with him :(  ]
5:05 - Welsh Dancer [i"m keeping an eye on Pabusar as well]
5:40 - Perfect Shot [just a gut feeling that after Newmarket there"s more to come after tackling 2m2f at Ascot behind Junior]

meh some competitive stuff to sort out so gl gl gl in finding winners today apat"ers

Got a good run for my money with most of those picks, slow start, but final four races saw all the picks in the top 4.

Tomorrow"s another day, and I"ll get you some photos posted.    ;D   It was a bit overcast at times today, forecast for tomorrow is improving. That"s the weather and the tipping.   ;)

2:10 - JoBurg - Never got into the race, usually comes from behind, but looked outpaced, it was a step up
2:45 - Film Score - Quite upsetting to watch, especially on the flat.  Looked tired prior to falling.
3:25 - Red Jazz - Looked okay at 3 out, but not enough to catch the leaders
4:00 - Zebedee - 2/1f, got 3.4 on Betfair last night, gotta have one a day that you are riding along to the finish.  Watched it from the rails.  Go on Hughsie !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
4:35 - Truism - Didn"t seem to quicken when it mattered, another nice price on Betfair though, had 8.2, went off at 5/1
5:05 - Golden Hinde - Hmmmm, heavily backed on the course into 9/4f, I"d backed at 5.5 last night, but again outpaced when it mattered
5:40 - Jedi - The force is strong with this one, but you always get a Martyr to ruin the plan.   ;D   Comfortably beaten into 2nd, oh well.
