Nice run by Frankel, he made the other group1 opponents look ordinary again.. It was good to see no idling this time, whatever his next target, be it over 8f or further, i can only see him improving.. [awesome prospect :)]

Just the one today

2.35 Red Duke

3.10 Not had a bet on this but if I was,  then I would be on Frankel

Red Duke got a shocking run - very unlucky

Very impressive and given a much better ride.  Saw out the mile really well and will be very interesting over 10f (although he would win a group 1 over 6f easily).  Canford ran no sort of race - however he is top class which makes Frankel even better.  Would like to see them meet again over a mile at ascot, maybe in the QE2.

Fantastic to see Frankel do it so easily,
surely Canford had some sot of problem??
The betting seemed to tell the story.
Not often the crowd cheer horses GOING to the start !!
The harder I work,
The luckier I get.

due to Rob swinebag pressure for once i"ll give my tips after the event :)
i went to ascot etc etc and had 6 winners lol lol ... naaaa i wish ;D
basically my betting antics for the day -
had a combi straight forecast on 3/4/6 got 1st 2nd and 4th in the 1st race
2nd race - had a win bet on Woolfall Treasure who finished well but never quite looked like winning...
3rd race - fancied Dungannon but effing pricewise had tipped it up, i convinced myself that all the value was gone, so had a win bet on Shoshoni Wind instead.. Dungannon won lol...
4th race - Parlour Games looked gr8 in parade, best price i could get was 8/1 and he won...
5th race - went with Chock A Block in this one [win bet again] , i might as well just gave my money away :)
6th race - in profit for the day and i didn"t really fancy anything, the 3 market leaders looked the way to go, so i had a small combi straight forecast on em, they finished 1.2+3 and the 1,2 paid ok as the fav was the 3rd :)

so ok wise in profit terms, i didn"t go mad as nothing stood out... but it was a nice day out.. The York Ebor next and i hope the weather improves or its going to be tough punting...

unlucky with Duchess Dora Tje, just ran out of gas.. Z.zEE unfortunately had Jim Crowley on-board [he didn"t have the best of days] Pivotman hmmm say no more huh :) if u had seen him in the flesh beforehand u may of swerved that 1..
Julius Geezer looks badly handicapped, keep a eye out for him though when he drops a bit more in the weights, he"s a nice looking sort with a bit of filling out left to do, he may make a nice 4yo...
