Secretinthepark @8/1  2point win

worth a punt in what looks a wide open race but even though up in class for his last run at Leicester, with Spencer riding again its worth a tickle. Whacked up 8lbs for a cosy win - http://www.sportinglife.com/racing/results/22-07-2015/leicester/result/683973/tom-cribb-handicap/video

3.15 - Shergar Cup Classic 12f Handicap

i"ve done a review of the fred since april 2013 [when i started to stake by points] to see how its doing in ROI terms - [counted up the points staked since april 2013 page by page :"( and it was 1566 points staked for +334.33 points profit]

334.33/1566 = +21.34%

i"ve copied all the posts and i"m going to review over time the 1000 or so bets :o and try to up the ROI..

from my own personal records in my daily betting i know which types of races and distances etc where my better strike rates and ROI"s are..
i just have to figure out how i can apply it to the donk fred within the staking strategy and the tv/festival races i stick to in the fred..

win some lose some, sometimes the odd horrendous losing streak in the fred :(  but that"s what is so great, the battle is the enjoyable part and hopefully still turn a profit LONG TERM.. if not then review and learn, move on :)

After reading your last post my initial thoughts are;
1. Don"t worry about your % profit-it"s already excellent.
2. Whatever your stake per point is you must increase it.
3. Open other accounts with as many bookmakers as possible in order to obtain the best odds
& be able to get your bets on when they start closing your accounts.
4. I must start betting on your selections & not just reading after time!
Good luck & keep up the good studying. Personally I tend to keep to maidens/2 year olds (less form!)
Bob.
The harder I work,
The luckier I get.

thanks Bob, i always want to get better, it just means i have to put the work in :)
on the stakes - i"m going to change a few things next flat season.
bookies - lots already closed or restricted, still got some but thank god for the exchanges :)
stick up some of your fancies on here if you think something in the mdns/2yo races is worth a dabble.

15th August Ripon
3.00 - Silver Trophy
Fast Shot @12/1  1point win
Mississippi @16/1  1point win

3.30 - Great St Wilfrid
Shore Step @12/1  1point win

Not plan A but plan C  :)

Plan A win more money then what i went with, fail

Plan B win enough money to pay for the day (Drink, Food, Travaling, Gambling) fail

Plan C win enough money to pay for the gambling, tick

Two good winners 5/1, 13/2 and some 2nds (did not back ew)

Went with the Mrs so was picking 2 or 3 per race so that eat into the profits or would have been a more prfitable day

Bring On York
