they really need to have another look at the blind structure for these games. i like proper poker as much as they next man, but well over 5 hours to play an 80 runner mtt ???

not sure i want to be sat up till well gone 1 o clock in the morning playing for 20 quid.

other option would be to bring the start time forward an hour.

some folk have to be up for work on a monday morning.

even us on the dole have stuff to do.  :)

Well done chipfire and jbong for final tabling yesterday. :)

Points on the board!

I couldn"t get anything going yesterday. I had quite a lot of hands but was forced to fold them on unfavourable flops, then had a rush of cards just after the 1st break but was short by then and my all ins didn"t get called.

Team is looking good if we can continue our points haul!

I also agree with chipfire about the seemingly late finishing time, perhaps we should start the game an hour earlier then it finishes at a more reasonable time?

it was gone 1 in the morning  when we were heads up, he had something like 130,000 chips  and i had just over 30,000, but blinds were still only 1250/2500, so we could quite easily have gone on for another hour as the  big blind was only going up by 500 every 15 minutes.

the points had already been decided by midnight when we were 4 handed, and it just seems a bit daft making relatively tiny increases in the big blind every 15 minutes at that stage.

we were essentially waiting for qq to run into aa to get the thing finished.

In the past the structure was way too fast, and I have to say I thought the structure was really good last night, but the FT must have lasted for 2 hours, thats a long time! We can never please everyone it seems, maybe speeding up the structure in the latter stages is an option. But TBH, I would leave it and see how the next one went.
