All in and called by both team mates....sigh
« on: September 05, 2010, 20:38:31 PM »
I have to ask, when I went all in for final 175, why did both Chris and Charles call? I wondered perhaps whether the call was weak to give me chips, but then Charles had QK. Hmmm. Good luck to the team anyway.

i like the call - either Charles wins, or you win.... but either way the chips stay with birmingham.... better than someone else taking them.

No worries Charles

Steve - not when it"s about getting numbers to the last 16.

Normally a fair point if it"s getting close to the final table, but a couple of hours away and extremely short stacked?  There"s also the risk that your chips go to another team if your own  people don"t make the call...which is even worse imo.

You"ve still got to be alive so being 2 hrs away is irrelevant. I"d rather no one calls except the BB who feels maybe he"s priced in and calls with any two. (I had AK.) If you get 5 people to the last 16 you"ll get more points than if 1 person gets there with all the chips of those 5 people, so you can"t really afford to knock out a team mate. And as I say, it wasn"t just one team mate caller but two.
