Is the $11 Stars deepstack daily now? I thought it was Sat/Sun only.

Unless you fancy playing for 7-12 hours to cash $10-$20 I would leave these tourneys well alone

This was what I thought, I dread how long it would take to make a final table with a few thousand runners.

7am back in the days when it got 1800 runners. Laxie won it, once.

So much dead money though...even Jon MW can cash regularly in it!

I thought it said in the info, "daily deepstack" but I may be wrong.

Have you played it? Interested to know how it plays.

Yeah, seems they made it daily.

I have played it and it"s one for the coffee beans. Usually 14-15 hours long, cashing takes forever. It"s one to play only if you REALLY like deepstack poker (I do, but even this is towards the extreme end)

I saw that there was a 6 max version, 5000 chips and 30min blinds running last night, fairly late start.

I am guessing that a lot of people dont have the patience and give their chips away so can understand the value. May have a go at some point in the future, would be a pretty painful bubble I imagine.

Mark, I have now caught up on your blog after spending a couple of hours reading from the start.

I have to say that I didn"t dip in immediately because the title didn"t grab a hold of me.  I"m now glad that I did.  It has been a very entertaining, humourous, and well-written journey through your poker ventures since last year.

I would say if you like writing and commentating then look for any opportunity to do more.

GL.  I look forward to future installments.

Hi, regarding the deepstack on Stars I assume you are talking about the game which starts at 23 30 5k chips 30 min blinds.
I have been playing this for a while (not a good sleeper), it currently gets about 100 to 120 runners more when the Americans were playing.
The bubble usually around 4am and yes can be a bit of a mare if short stacked, have final tabled it a few times finishing 2cd 3rd still playing at 9 am so it is a long haul, but there is loads of play at the end 3, 4, 5 betting and still being able to fold with 40 bigs.
There are easy chips available at the start as people still play it like a turbo for some reason, tis one for the insomniacs though first prize usually between 600 700.
If you were at work the following day I wouldn"t recommend it though.
