I'm interested in your thoughts on the following:
Final table at Luton regional 6 left in - 5 get paid

I"m 3rd to act and hold  :as: jh i have 10k stack and the next level 1/2k is 1 minute away.
I announce all in, and after some deliberation the small blind calls holding  7s 7d i flop a J  :) he turns a 7 :o i bubble  :"(
the button had a shorter stack than me so there was probably a good chance she would have moved in had I folded.

so would you have played or folded?

I did however qualify on blue square last night so I'll be at Cardiff after all  8)

Interesting, as it depends if you"re trying to win, or treating it as a satellite for the seat.

If it"s a pure satellite, I might well be folding.

If I"m playing for the win, it"s an easy push.

also depends on the stacks of the other players, how many chips where in play? How many did the players left behind you have? how likely was it you would get called? Be interested to know how many chips the player who called has because if they are only going to be left with a few chips its not that easy a call

thanks for your feedback guys

The small blind had me well covered with a stack of about 35-40k as did the big blind. The button only had about 8k, so maybe the better option would have been to fold and hope the button moved in.  That said I was playing to win and had all my chips in on numerous occasions throughout the tournament.

Kin says it best, MTT push, Sat fold. Simple.
Given the stack sizes and blinds its an EV+ play but why risk your life and a seat for only a marginally profitable play?
