US Open Golf

The 2nd major starts on Thursday at the Congressional Country Club in Maryland.

My 4 against the field are (betfair prices);

Furyk 60
Kuchar 28
Toms 65
Gay 200

If it is not to be one of the septics above, I hope Donald or Westwood can win it for the brits.  Both deserve a major victory and are in top form.

good GIR players there James - though furyk has lost it with the putter recently (60s still a good punt though)

Quite like Tim Clark for similar reasons (is he playing though??) and Adam Scott

I"ll tell you what, I"m LOVING the groups for this!!!

I"m going for Eduardo Molinari 200/1 and Brandt Jobe 260/1 at the start with a view to re-assessing before kick-off on Saturday.

On the lower end of the odds list, I"m also liking;

KJ Choi
Steve Stricker
Bubba Watson

on Betfair im on....

Watney - 40-1
Mcdowell - 70-1
Sabbatini - 170-1
Ishikawa - 370-1

Kuchar looks a very good bet but a bit too short for me.

Good luck everyone

Bets I still have in play / are still likely to bag me something are;

McIlroy win @ 23/1 (my business partner"s pick)

Oosthuizen top South African @ 10/1 which will cover all my other bets

Rory has been astonishing. Now take it down fella!

Nice pick but surely you lay this off (currently 1.14 on betfair)?

Remember the masters final round...

11th hole, and septic peg predicts McIlroy will win... It would have to be beyond the proportions of a Van de Velde blow up now to stop him being crowned champion...
