Can the side event be bought into on the day? And when is it? I don"t really know how this works.

I belive side event is now 6 max NL holdem £25 buy played on the Sunday , but can buy in on the Saturday

Correct, buyin will be available from Saturday Evening (Dependant upon the cardoom staff being setup to take buyins)

I was speaking to a merchant city regular about this event he heard that they may be moving the poker tables upstairs  instead of the usual location of downstairs on the gaming floor! I think upstairs could be the better option ! Anyone know what the the casino plans are ??

Been a while since i was last there but upstairs would defo be better option as it would be very cramped in the normal cardroom

Hi, wonder if someone can help. Is this tournament now FULL as i can"t see it on 888?
I noticed that someone mentioned that unsold seats may be available on the day?

Many Thanks
Stephen

Stephen,

exactly that

91 seats have been sold

120 is capacity

remaining seats on sale on the day, first come first served after midday, in cash

Have offered the venue the opportunity to do a live satellite for seats, so if you are local you might like to check if they intend running one

Hope you get in

PINT PRICE ALERT!!!!!

Over £4 a pint for tennents lager in the merchant !! Think I"ll be upgrading to Stella for the extra 40p!

The only downside to that I"ll be knocked out the comp & pissed for £8.80

I can"t imagine that Glasgow is short of places that will do us cheaper drinks....hmmm, this might call for some research.

The Horsehoe is too far of a stagger from the casino &/or my hotel.

I"m voting for the Scotia 2 minutes away. http://www.scotiabar.net/

More research needed.

That reminds me....Gentlemens" establishments....Ger?
