Omaha Question
« on: August 04, 2011, 17:15:24 PM »
Just got through reading all Brudders Omaha cash hands and was wondering about the deep stacked Omaha games on Pokerstars. They run 250 BB deep with Ante.

What would people say are the bankroll requirements for these games? I am guessing around 50BI for a level you can comfortably beat so to play say the $25 buyin games with 5c/10c blinds it would be around $1000?

I have messed about with the games recently and they seem quite soft so I am thinking of having a proper crack at them as I am a bit bored with hold "em, any advice is welcome.

Depends on style I think 30bi is fine for a low varience style with constant shot taking ;D

30 buy-ins is def not enough.  If ur shot taking it shud be 50 buy-ins.  If ur making it ur main game u shud have 100 buy-ins.  Its such a swingy game tht 20-30 buy-in swings are unavoidable.

Yeah, guessed it might be something like that.

Not to worry I am going to start at the lowest level on Pokerstars (not feeling very baller lately) and just go from there. Going to stick some hands on this board as well.
