I use PokerTracker, with PA HUD for the table overlay.  I was advised to go for PT over PO - and really couldn"t tell you the difference.

PT covers all the major networks, is constantly being updated, and works just fine for me.  That"s not to say that PO wouldn"t do exactly the same (if not better).

I"d definitely say that PT (or PO) are essential tools in cash game selection and play online.  Also fairly useful for tournaments, but far less so.

My game took a lot of benefit from using PT. Never used PO so can"t make comparison.

Daniel, what do you mean by "PA HUD for the table overlay"

If you use PT, get PA HUD.  Basically it overlays key info (that you can customise) over the table.

So you can see the other player"s VPIP, PFR, etc., next to their seats.  The figures are all in your PT database, but PA HUD makes it useful in real time.

excellent. I sit with a PT table view window open.... but it gets a little tricky multi tabling cash games!!

Where can I get PD Hud, and I"m guessing it"s not freeware?

Buy it.  It"ll pay for itself over the course of a couple of cash sessions.

Same as Kin, PT with PaHudd is just the business for destroying cash games. You almost feel blind without!

Question for Daniel:
Do you know how to get the notes you have in PT on an overlay?

Don"t know.  I don"t use the notes in PT - use the ones in the poker software and/or a paper notepad!

I have pages of notes in PT from analysing past hands.
Guess we all have our ways!!

the new PT has PA HUD built in, but you have to pay extra for it.

I"m PT also, every session I think to myself..I must get the PA HUD, and keep forgetting to actually do it.

Also how do I set it up for Bluesquare?  -  Simple to follow instruction needed!

Thanks in advance
